It doesn't cost anything to agree with the Bioware decision whilst still admitting that those on last gen consoles are unfortunate and BW could have handled it better.

Uh, no, we're getting DLC at some point. We don't know exactly what or exactly when, but Laidlaw and others have said that something will be here Soon™.

This afternoon we will be revamping our 3 default chests in the Multiplayer Store. We’ve been reviewing feedback from the community and wanted to make some changes based on your feedback.
If you are planning to purchase some chests today, particularly with Platinum, you may wish to hold off until we update the chests this afternoon.
We are targeting to have the replacement chests go live at approximately 2pm PDT.
- The 3 default chests will be affected today.
- The potion chests will be updated later this week.
We’ll update this thread once the new chests are available later today.

Today we revamped our 3 default chests in the Multiplayer Store. We’ve been reviewing feedback from the community over the past weeks and months as we offered various types of chests for events.
- The 3 default chests have been replaced today. See the table below for the new breakdown.
- The potion chests will be updated later this week.
These will be our 3 chests going forward. As always, we appreciate your feedback, and would love to hear what you think of the new structure once you've had a chance to open some chests.
If you are currently in-game and do not see these changes in the store, please return to main menu and re-enter Multiplayer to ensure all changes have pulled down from the server.

There’s a slim chance that it could be SP related, I seem to remember DragonsNDonuts did a stream of JOH at one time or at least got some of the SP dev’s involved.

I'll be happy even with an announcement or a good portion of overt hints. I can patiently wait for this DLC for even some time if they delivered just that - at this point the most agonizing thing about upcoming SP content is that we have no solid information on anything whatsoever and have to base everything on rumors, supposed/suspicious leaks and a handful of tweets.
I would love some SP content to lose myself in right now, but the MP devs have been making a lot of tweaks to the game lately so it's likely something to do with that.

The tweaks could be because of the big update they gave MP, such as adding a new difficulty.
