Woah, that's...interesting. So they're making MP an almost separate free to play game o.O. If only for the people that get it during the offer.

Anytime I'm glad you were able to pre-order. There hasn't been much mention of it lately around here so it's no wonder you hadn't heard of it (and probably quite a few others have not, either).

Too bad there are no multiplayer achievements, no trophies, no cool SP unlocks, ...
The base experience is pretty good, but there is not enough content to back it. Once you unlock all characters, the game pretty much ends.

Well there are MP challenges with Banners/Portraits/Titles but I'm glad there are no (ok, well... one) SP unlocks. I like that they kept SP and MP separate (for the most part).

Yeah, you cant even talk with MP agents in Skyhold. It would probably confuse some players.

I guess people playing MP cant have any nice things ... other than Isabela.

Luka or Neria would sound like prime candidates to have some lines given their location.

This may be an unpopular idea, but I hope Bioware considers making some of the agents companions in future games. We don't know a lot about them, so it could work without people feeling like they've missed out by not wanting to play MP. I know there is some animosity towards multiplayer, but there are character types in it that are worth exploring. For example, having a companion like Argent would present a fairly unique story telling opportunity.

I'm going to guess they mean functionality and not choices offered. Like, did you hate having to adjust your character's face on a 2D scale, or did you not like the color palette option and would rather have squares of eye color to pick from, and so on.

Ryan left BioWare in April, so unless he returned and I missed it, I imagine he's looking for general brainstorming as opposed to DA-specific issues.

Technically that *is* free if you didn't already buy the game. Which I assume is a very limited number of people on this forum.

 

Could also be useful for people who have the game on console, but wouldn't mind doing their multiplayer on PC where its free to connect. Assuming they have a PC that could run the minimum specs, I'd think this might be a pretty good thing for them. Keep your real game on your console, but get free multiplayer.
