Bla, bla, bla, left out again... Don't even know why I still look into this kind of thing...

Looking at the list of passives in the abilities they let you pick from, I see something towards the bottom about "On hit: chance to sing a defensive buff to allies within x meters". I can only assume this applies to ZITHER!, which means this contest is for multiplayer items (unless we're getting him as a companion via DLC which I would be totally fine with). I wish this contest would have specified if they meant these items would be geared towards multiplayer or singleplayer gameplay since that will affect what item we turn in. Like, if this IS for MP, I might as well not bother since I have no idea how its balanced or what is missing from multiplayer ability-wise.
They haven't clarified on this point, right? Or did I just miss it?
Good luck to everyone entering, though. ![]()

I thought it just meant they could add MP skills to items in single player. Like how you can put hidden blades on a sword for a warrior. Having Z!'s skill on an item should work the same way and add buffs to allies without needing to be present in the wearer's skill tree.

Well if I can make my Inquisitor sing, then I vote that one. lol Or Solas sing... Ooo! Varric! I bet his singing would be awesome.

Well it's only for North America residents, again. Not disappointing at all. ![]()

I think they are done with 'patching' bugs in SP.
Well I hope your assumption is wrong. =/

You guys need to get on those legislative initiatives to get your laws changed. Really seems you can't have nice things otherwise. lol
EDIT: rofl, EP, that thread title. xD

I've stopped caring and looking at contests. It has only known to disappoint me.

The latest contest (like all Bioware contests) isn't available for those in Quebec...

Dragon Age: Inquisition was intended to stand on its own. The post credit stuff was a stinger like a Marvel movie.
This is how I felt about both! Too much of the overall discourse about the impending dlc is due to to silent running mode from the devs. Maybe that is unavoidable?

Ryan Treadwell @Ryan_Treadwell
I have a question for you all. What annoys you about character creators? What would you change if you could? No wrong answers!
Unisex options for all races. Pretty sure humans, elves, dwarves, etc. would not share this much in common?

I think this would happen regardless. Even if the devs did have an active presence on the forums they wouldn't be discussing the plot of an upcoming DLC for spoiler reasons.

As if we needed more proof that BW's staying clear of the forums. How else could they've missed the 28 threads on the matter.
I don't expect them to change their name to Biohair, but please, less sideburns.
I'm only half joking.

^ I don't really think that is what was means by the question, rather that it was about the actual functionality of the CC, and the process of using it. Various options aside, all character creators have their good and bad points.
One thing that tends to bug me about the Bioware CCs is that the characters are always at a slight angle, so you can never see them full on, even if you turn them toward the camera.

The lighting is awful. You make a toon think it looks good just to go out in the daylight and realise it's fugly.

Imo the crosshair system is vastly superior to the limited range of sliders, but you're right about the CC's limited viewing angles. Also, if the forum is anything to go by better lightning and face codes would make a lot of players happy.

They should just have the CC in a small, contained outdoor environment (like the Hinterlands) where you can turn and face/face away from the sun.

Sounds good to me. Would be good to be able to move you character around the area so that you can see how they look from all angles.

And zoom in and out from full body in environment to eye detail...
