Jeez, I'm defintiely passing on this one. So many bugs on a basic, overpriced item pack are absolutely disgraceful. Bioware should be ashamed of itself for having its name associated with such a money-grubbing piece of crap.

And even more ashamed for delaying it for two weeks, and still not fixing the bugs even though people brought it up when the DLC was leaked. Beyond incompetent.

If this wasn't bugged for qunari females, I'd prolly buy this just for my mage Adaar, but... yeah.
There any indication Bioware even knows there ARE problems? Or knows WE know there are problems?

The Dragon Age twitter account passed it on to the proper individuals. I'm guessing fixes may be thrown into the next patch.

Bioware plays the same game as us, there is no way they DIDN'T know there was an issue. Every Qunari player has this problem.

To be honest I snagged this pack when it first mistakenly dropped (on Xbox)
and spotted the issue with female qunari in about 5 minutes.
(and the threads discussed it at length)
If it's not fixed on this relaunch, I do think that is a little careless.

The sad thing about the bugs with the qunari textures is that it’s a relatively easy fix and one that wouldn't take a great deal of time. Heck if the mod tools on PC could decrypt DLC files I’d be able to fix it myself within a day.

They may play the same game, but they use different systems. Also, given the massively larger number of consumers over developers/testers, players are likely to find bugs more readily than game producers.
In this case however, it's a bug affecting ALL systems. They probably didn't test it as much as they should have.
The incredibly ironic part of all this is that Qunari characters are having issues with Spoils of the Qunari. Fail.
At least it's not a main quest bug or something.

And red is very much qunari colours....
'why would you not wear red under the qun?
you cannot be qunari in blue...'

They don't 'play' the game the same way a player would. They create the content, test it a bit and release it. And since I'm pretty sure this armor was originally made for specific colored qunari for an upcoming single player dlc, they just never came across the skin problem and assumed there wasn't an issue. They probably just tested to see if the armor worked on all the races (even though the body looks completely broken on male elves), tried tinting on a couple and called it a day.

This is probably accurate. They probably did not do a thorough skin tone play-testing. Maybe they used the same Qunari every time as you suggested. ![]()
It's negligent, but not unexpected. I've seen some weird bugs that came from the most random oversights.

Hopefully this will get fixed in a patch.
Ultimately it doesn't affect me much because I'd only planned to have Bull wear the armor, but if its as easy a fix as people are suggesting then they could probably work something into a patch.

Please, for the love of God, don't buy it. You'll just be enabling them.

Uh, yes they do. What do you think testing entails? Platforms are irrelevant, especially since this issue is present across all of them. There's no way that they did not know tinting was bugged, its their job to test every aspect of the dlc especially with regards to main functionality. That they wouldn't have noticed the tinting bug, on of all races the qunari, is either a result of severe ineptitude or carelessness. Given that people were complaining about this issue two weeks ago and they still chose to release bugged content, I'm going with the latter. They aren't likely to fix this, they still haven't even corrected the color unification bug on vanilla gear.

There isn't a dwarf alive who remembers the Deep Roads as they once were. They were the network of tunnels that joined the thaigs together. To be honest, it isn't even right to give them such a simple term as "tunnels": they are works of art, with centuries of planning demonstrated in the geometry of their walls, with the statues of the Paragons that watch over travelers, with the flow of lava that keeps the Deep Roads lit and warm. The cloudgazers up on the surface talk of the Imperial Highway built by the magisters of old, a raised walkway that crossed thousands of miles, something that could only have been built by magic. Perhaps it is comparable to the Deep Roads, although we dwarves didn't need magic.
I suppose it doesn't matter anymore. The darkspawn rule the Deep Roads now. When Orzammar sealed off the entrances to the Deep Roads, abandoning everything that lay out there, we handed over the kingdom-that-was to those black bastards forever. To think that there are genlocks crawling over Bownammar now, tearing down our statues and defiling our greatest works! Corruption covers everything we built out there. Every dwarf who goes out and comes back says that it gets worse with each passing year, the foulness spread a little further.
And the cloudgazers think the darkspawn are gone just because they aren't spilling out onto the surface? Huh. One day, when Orzammar is gone for good, they'll find out differently. Those darkspawn won't have anywhere else to go but up, and they'll do it. The surface folk will have themselves a Blight that will never end.

Interesting "news" post with no context. Maybe a prelude to an upcoming deep roads DLC announcement?
