tbh I almost feel bad for the guy. Wonder how many different versions of that exact tweet he's had to read since November.

He seems perfectly happy to troll, though!

He is. He's quite like a cat. Loves to play with his prey.

Probably why I like him so damn much.

Sometimes I worry favouriting an awesome/hilarious fan request will get misread, but selfishly hope it does for more fan theories!

Why doesn't Allan post here anymore? Did we scare him away? The devs kind of all vanished after DA:I launched.

People are such a class act. The notion that the worst of the internet can often be seen commenting on so-called Social media is quite telling to me.

He doesn't work on DA anymore.

Not sure why his messages keep getting posted here.

That evil, evil man.

I went back and reread his pre-release, character profile interview for Solas. He's pure, diabolical genius. lol

Not like they talked about JoH during a stream before, right? ;)

They talked about it in a stream, not in a MP stream. But hey, its you who setup yourself for disappointment, if I'm wrong I will be pleased.

Good, while I dont agree Alan is worthless or that he should die, the forum is better without him.

Uh...he never seemed like a particularly objectionable poster. Regardless of posting, you don't find the devs' nuggets of wisdom or behind the scenes insights particularly useful?...

*
MESSAGE POPULAIRE !

Alan was one of the nicest, most personable guys who ever stepped a foot into this forum, dev or otherwise, who tried to interact as much and as often as he could, who tried to explain, inform, and educate every chance he could, and who was an all around decent human being.

I feel sorry for you if you found anything at all objectionable about his repeated futile efforts to interact with this community. You must be totally miserable.

Unfortunately, thanks to assholes that populate this place the devs find ****** Reddit, Tumblr, and Twitter more positive environments. Its no surprise that we're stuck here with not a single dev that even bothers with this forum anymore, and instead we have faceless mods who have probably never even played Dragon age and would rather delete pages of posts to eliminate all problems unlike someone like Alan who actually listened and gave honest feedback and opinions.

We are worse off because of it, too.

Agreed with all that. I wouldn't mind if they had a registered owners forum where the devs were able to interact with people when time permitted.

Disruptive people get banned from the forum.

So it turns out running is easier if I can distract myself by planning ways to improve the AI-ability-CSM dispatch system for DA

sebastianhanlon @hanlsp

Not any -faster-, mind you, just more “oh look at the time fly”

I complain as much as anyone (okay more) but I always thought it was cool that he'd interact with us.   Even if I disagreed, at least he was talking to us, and I always gave props for that.

He usually reserves it for PMs.

Why are you baffled?

BioFan @BioFanOfficial

enjoy your Cullen musings. ;)

Sarah H @_SarahHayward

also,because credit where due and all, I didn't make Cullen's model, I just directed/animated his scenes :)

BioFan @BioFanOfficial

ohhhhh. Well. In that case, THANK YOU for that desk scene ;)

Sarah H @_SarahHayward

Ya know, I honestly can't remember if the desk bit was my idea or @bbattye 's. Probably hers. She IS an evil genius...

Brianne Battye @bbattye

We were both on the same wavelength for that scene. I'd say they were mind-merge ideas :)

Sarah H @_SarahHayward

We pretty much achieved full mind meld status on Cullen. I still smile fondly at the first kiss scene. So great!

BioFan @BioFanOfficial

All of the scenes were good. I swooned SO HARD. I go back and rewatch the scenes now and then and swoon more! <3

Sarah H @_SarahHayward

Oh! Oh! I thought of a Cullen thing. In the prayer scene with him and you're romancing him. After the first choice-

Sarah H @_SarahHayward

Hit play on "Red like roses part I" from the RWBY sound track. Makes the scene so sad/pretty. I may have listened on repeat

Brianne Battye @bbattye

Oh - I remember you showing me that! :)

Sarah H @_SarahHayward

I mean the track we got in house for ship is great too, but the songs you play on repeat as you work stick with you

BioFan @BioFanOfficial

OH I know exactly what you mean.I associate certian songs with DAI cuz I wrote video scripts while listening to them

Brianne Battye @bbattye

Yep. I make soundtracks for things I work on.

Sarah H @_SarahHayward

For me Cullen was a lot of sad, pretty songs. "Mirror Mirror" was another from the RWBY OST I listened to.

Sarah H @_SarahHayward

*80's freeze frame high-five!*

The release version. Hard & Nightmare were dialed up specifically for this DLC.
