It's safer not to encourage believing such things. Most people that post these fake stuff do put thought into it so it's believable enough. I remember back when ME3 was being made and people were trying to guess the romances, someone had gone to great lengths to make people believe (even though the character DID end up being romanceable), that Kaidan was a romance for male Shepard and wrote a fake script romance dialogue to do it that was pretty in-character. People went nuts.
You should have seen one of the fake posts on ME3's ending (done just a few days before the leaks on the vanilla "Pre-EC" endings were getting revealed and people were freaking out at how terrible it was), which claimed that Shepard could survive the Catalyst's endgame choice, but only if he/she choose to "mate" with Liara which would make a child with Shepard's DNA, which Liara in turn would use to sacrifice both herself and the unborn child to save Shepard... I tell you man, that fake post caused a number of people to massively lose their collective ****.

It was fanfic garbage. Basically "all 3 protagonists team up with Morrigan (because reasons) to save the world from evil".
Ha! With two of them potentially dead, I doubt that will ever happen.

2 things: Orlesian Grey Warden. And Hawke will "likely" die.
That said, I agree that those details sound like hogwash. lol Though color me pleasantly surprised if it happens.

Yeah given that it’s promising all of the stuff the dev’s have said time and time again will never happen it’s a pretty safe bet that it’s fake. And we probably have three more weeks of random people giving "details" about the next DLC ![]()

This feature was in the alpha version already. o.O
Even the feature to distroy the envoirenment in combat and this is still in the game code, the sieges in the Westgrate prove it. It seems that this features only disabled in the final version.

Just because something is in the code doesn’t mean it can/should be used. There will be reasons that were not privy to as to why it didn’t make it into the final build.

The reason is the last console gen...
which has been done to happiness. The PS4 is no longer slowed down because the low PS3. BioWare could screw up the PS4 version a little bit. #DRIVECLUB looks better on PS4 then Dragon Age Inquisition.

Not a huge fan of fully dynamic weather outside fully sandbox games.

Let's be honest DA: I doesn't look amazing compared to games that are coming out on the current-gen. Everyone knows why. Thank the Maker they've left last-gen behind.

If that were the only reason, at least the game would run like magic on current-gen consoles. Except it does not as Frostbite is somewhat ... weak.Let's be honest DA: I doesn't look amazing compared to games that are coming out on the current-gen. Everyone knows why. I feel I should point out that Bioware game have always looked subpar compared to other games of the same generation. That being said, I think Inquisition has actually closed that gap somewhat. If that were the only reason, at least the game would run like magic on current-gen consoles. I have Xbox one.
As far as story, Dragon Age has them beat every time. I can't get Dumbledore out of my head every time the character he voices speaks. Why I don't like famous famous famous actors for video game roles unless they can disguise their voices completely.

You're assuming the reason is last gen. I agree that last gen support was probably the main reason but it could also be that those features interfered with other mechanics as well. You’d be surprised how often something completely unrelated to a certain mechanic will break it. Anyway the point is moot, the code is locked down now and the game has been designed to not include those features anymore. To change that now would involve way too much work, they’d probably have to re-code a load of stuff from scratch and since they’re operating with a skeleton crew of dev’s since the majority of the dev team was moved over to work on ME:A it’s never going to be an option.

It does look nice but damn its so lifeless and static and that just ruins it for me.

I don't think that's the case, ME:A is being worked on by a separate team in a different city. While I'm sure there's some crossover, I'm guessing a lot of them are working on DLC, the new IP, or very early DA4 work.

Don't tease me! If its set up in Tevinter area, I'm going to sacrifice all the Nugs in the world just for some Concept Art pictures of the Academies that Mage's go to. Ever since Dorian talked about them, I've been foaming at the mouth for more lol. If they do do that, I can imagine if its a Human Mage, they'll be an Archon to their Family or something close. Only time will tell!
Anyway, today is the today. Where something or nothing could be announced! Now we play the waiting game.

When shadow realms was cancelled some of BioWare Austin was assigned to help out Edmonton and Montreal so its not unheard of.

Some, I just doubt the idea that only a "skeleton crew" is left working on DLC or that they wouldn't sooner assign people to the project just down the hall in the same building.

I doubt its a skeleton crew but I also doubt its a big team left working on Inquisition 8 months after launch.
...That or BioWare is trying to rival Rockstar North at taking forever to make DLC! ![]()

Not necessarily, for the first time ME and DA are using the same engine so they could quite easily have shifted people over to work on the project despite it being manly developed by another studio. It’s very common in AAA game dev to have multiple studios working on one project if they share engines, just look at Assassins Creed. One studio will be the head of development but other ubisoft studios will be brought in on the project to meet deadlines or handle different elements of the game like multiplayer. Also the new IP still sounds like it’s in the very early writing/world building stage so they won’t need many dev’s, maybe just a handful to create some early prototypes and I highly doubt they would’ve started on anything to do with DA4 yet given we're still in the post-release DLC stage, even if they had the only dev's that would be being used would be concept artists and writers.
