Anyway just saw Mark Darrah changed his twitter pic , he has this very glorious picture with Snoop Dog!
I always found Snoop Dog hilarious for some reasons.Must be the pimp attitude , and the bling bling.I just can't take those seriously.

less? They never gave a "quantity" of information they will be sharing, beside they have limited at the EA presentation. And E3 is mostly interview-based in term of medium.

It's like Mark Darrah is giving a speech at the Oscar and Snoop just realized he's at a really lame geek party.

Pretty much how it will probably go... As long as the game doesn't disappoint, I'll be happyFilament wrote...

I was thinking the same thing, Ericander. What if we're running from the inquisition? Or, one of our backgrounds allows us to.
Cuz something abt the whole being an Inquisitor thing seems off. Unless they airbrush the whole group. Then even the idea of "leading" it makes me question. Who the heck are we that anyone would entrust us like that.
Although, I still want my red cape. For moments when dramatic emphasis is needed.

I think you're dramatically overthinking this. They've said that the survey is old, blah blah blah. But they felt the need to announce the game with NOTHING to show to try to divert attention away from the survey. It's obviously not irrelevent. The survey made it pretty clear that the mage-Templar conflict is not the fical point of the story. This new Inquisition has nothing to do with hunting down mages and the like. It's about uncovering what's causing catastrophies all over Thedas, including a massive tear in the veil that decimates a peace summit between the mages and Templars and sends demons spewing forth into the waking world. I personally have no doubt that we're playing as The Inquisitor.
Well put.
I agree with BasilKarlo, the survey is old but there's still some truth to it even if it's just the very basics of the plot. I'm 99.9% sure we'll be part of the Inquisition/the Inquisitor.

"We will show stuff at E3" -> "We will show SOME stuff at E3" -> "We will show a little dollop"... getting less.

Yes , I'm writing this aggggain....and Merrill , I feel like her story wasn't really done.
I may be wrong .
.
I'm pretty sure Merrill will be back. There's a YouTube video done at the New York Comic Con in 2011 discussing DAIII teasers and when they were talking about character customization they used Merrill as a template.
Here's the video: Go to the 6:52 mark to see Merrill.
Of course, everything is subject to change...

The Warden got that position by default. Everyone else died, and the others couldn't be reached. I would hope they wouldn't do the Same thing w/DA3.

Well, one would imagine it's *really, really hard* to significantly change the plot without a lot of prior notice, especially since the writing has such massive lead times. Everything else that stems from the writing (cinematics, dialogue, voice recording) takes ages to do, so I'd imagine the main arcs of the plot are some of the very first things to be nailed down in the game. The story would be in the game pitch-thing (I forget the fancy developer name), which is finished before proper development even starts...
The marketing survey 'leaked' only late last year, which was way past the time when the plot would be locked down. I'd think it would be practically impossible that they'd change the fundamental storyline of the game (in the sense of the protagonist being an Inquisitor) mid-way through development.

Rising to power is a thing that happens sometimes, it's not always just leveling up.

I just wish they would announce the *real* date the game is coming out. I've read everything from:
1. Fall of 2013
2. Over 2013 Christmas holiday
3. 2014...no idea of when
4. Early 2014
If nothing else comes out at E3, at least I hope they set a date!
