Can we just sit and think about WHAT could possibly cause seismic activity AROUND Thedas?

Thresher maws dumped on the planet by Cerberus, of course.

Considering the Storm Coast is riddled with basalt columns, seismic activity is not surprising. The Hinterlands has a few patches of columns as well; so I'm wondering if this upcoming "seismic activity" is part of a cycle of some sort?

But beefy nugs make things interesting! :D

Jeff Theriault ‏@FieldFlux

Which brings up a question: What do beefy nugs taste like?

We need a recipe.

I like this idea. It'd be great if this much forethought was put into the environmental details.

The Stone stirs...

...but probably not.  That particular cave is irritatingly far away from the Shimmer Stone Mine, Kal-Sharok, or the Pools of the Sun.  Do we have any reason to believe something interesting is underneath the Storm Coast, aside from the old dwarven port?

the old dwarven port might just be an entrance, one the *Fill in ominous threat* has expanded to, so we follow it deeper.

What if Its not Storm Coast related? I mean It would be boring to brings us there again right? What if it should just give us ideas (Darkspawn, Undergrounds, Caves, Spiders, Mysteries), They did post Cullen picture while talking about Lyrium

It's Akuze all over again!

Maybe an earthquake could be the result of a rift opening up in the completely wrong place or some other weird darkspawn/archdemon/Coryphenus-magic effect.

The Stone lives beneath Orlais, and the Storm Coast is off Ferelden, so probably not.  Earthquake causes aside, any big Darkspawn surges outside of a Blight are unusual...  Unless intelligent Darkspawn like the Architect are involved... *cough*

Those guys in Valammar were using an entrance in southern Ferelden to reach a thaig beneath the Free Marches. Just because the entrance is in Ferelden doesn't mean our ultimate destination won't be under Orlais. Or the DLC might just have multiple locales.
