I'm really interested in those not-quite-Genlocks.  Every darkspawn we've encountered to date has had brutally primitive armor and weapons cobbled together out of what they could scavange from abandoned thaigs and dead dwarves.

These guys, though.  Pristine, carefully crafted armor inset with blue lyrium.

Evolved spawn of the Mother?    Corrupted Kal-sharok dwarves?

Hmm, I didn't even notice that until you mentioned it.

Given their height and general look, I would say they are Kal Sharok dwarves.

Those are genlocks. They just look like DAO genlocks.

Doubtful, since these seem to be standard genlocks later in the trailer.

Kal-Sharok is possible, but the white eyes are worrisome.  As is the fact that they're apparently antagonistic, since the Inquisition's limited war table interactions with Kal-Sharok have been cooperative.    ....Ghouls, maybe?

From Baldur's Gate.
Certainly old school.
A dungeon (mine) that gets harder as you descend.

Seriously. It's kinda like explaining that you used to have to lick the back of postage stamps to get them to stick to an envelope.

I is old.

As others have pointed out, the terrain does look a bit precarious for things like: Fade Step, Charging Bull, Leaping Shot....

Now I have images of me frantically trying to call my "pawns" to me in Dragon's Dogma, on the bridges of the Fortress of Remembrance, to keep them from taking a header over the edge....as they were prone to do.

At least you could use the fall damage to take out the enemy, just as easily as it could take out your Arisen and pawns.

I hope the advisers actually have a role in this DLC and aren't completely absent like in Jaws of Hakkon, but I doubt it from the trailer.

Sqeeeeeee!!!! First time through will be with my Cadash and she always takes Blackwall. The question is should I bring two mages or a mage and Varric? My Cadash is a rogue. So I do not need to bring another. Two mages are a safer bet simply because I have double barriers available. What to do!

The one thing I shall always deeply miss from Dragon's Dogma is ability to just casually put human-sized enemies over our shoulder and throw them from the bridge:devil:

One of the many things to like about that game (Unfortunately the lack of quick travel turned me off that game, but still)

Well, if you happen to be near a bottomless pit (Like, say, in Valammar), you can kill enemies by knocking them off.  Shield Bash is great

I'm looking forward to seeing what next week's patch brings (hopefully at least a raise to the level cap; I dare not hope for any actual bug fixes). Also surprised and pleased that there's still more to come.

More like a shortage. My inquisitor picked it all.

My elfroot stores are getting dangerously high (if I sold all of my crafting materials, at last check I would raise 600K gold, well over 10K for elfroot alone).

Trying to navigate through the crafting materials screen is an absolute nightmare (I would kill for a QoL patch to increase stack sizes). It can take a bit after loading a saved game for the inventory to fully propagate (I have to wait for all the items to correctly show up).

True, though I wish we've had rogue/mage ability with such strong knock off. There's one in ESO, and boy did my some of raiding groups had fun just flinging enemies off high bridges in some large group dungeons (some did re-spawn, buy HEY! More fun!).

Ah... why is knocking people off from high places so immensely satisfying? ;D

They don't have beards, but have greyish skin along with the white eyes. Maybe something different altogether?
