Why does it show this being started in 2012, they knew the DLC was going to be made 3 years ago?

True, though I wish we've had rogue/mage ability with such strong knock off. There's one in ESO, and boy did my some of raiding groups had fun just flinging enemies off high bridges in some large group dungeons (some did re-spawn, buy HEY! More fun!).
Ah... why is knocking people off from high places so immensely satisfying? ;D
I once sent a Grey Warden flying off a parapet with Spinning Blades. He was on fire at the time and made a lovely streak through the air.
They don't have beards, but have greyish skin along with the white eyes. Maybe something different altogether?
Awakened genlocks?
Seems like the advisers won't play a role in this. Or at least Josephine won't. ![]()
How awkward must Blackwall feel if you take him to this before the reveal. I mean, if I were the Inquisitor I'd like to take a Warden, since it's, you know... the Deep Roads. Taint and all that? Danger?
Makes me wish we get a Warden character, at least...
Sylvia not working on it isn't a 100% guarantee Josie isn't in it*, though I agree that it doesn't look good for the advisors. :\ I also asked Laidlaw about them earlier, as did someone else on my timeline, but neither of us received a response.Seems like the advisers won't play a role in this. Josephine's writer not being involved on the DLC is pretty much proof that Josephine won't appear. And if she doesn't, chances are Cullen and Leliana won't either. So much for treating the advisers and companions equally. ![]()
Hah, I only went to Ikea for a couple of hours and suddenly there's been a DLC trailer.

If there's no new content for advisors, I suppose that means there's also no new content for companions outside of location specific banter or commentary during cutscenes/discussion. Which is what we get anyway with the main game, so I guess that is fair all around. it'd probably be different if it were a strictly post-game DLC.

More dialogue being vague about the Wardens then...

How is no content compared to some content fair or equal?

Hopefully they let us put him on the spot about stuff a bit more lol.

How would that even work though? You gonna take her with you??

Mostly since it can be played during the course of the game, so whatever content you had with the advisors is still there. Likely there are no romance-specific scenes or other long discussions with any of them, which could be considered unfair if we had something like that with the companions while wandering the bowels of the earth. Companions are always going to comment about whatever is going on around you. Possibly the advisors will too, once we return.

Yeah, I don't get it either. It's basically another zone you're unlocking and the advisers don't have any role in those in the main game. Why would this or the Frostback Basin be different?

Bringing the issue up with you, staying at the main camp, serving their role if needed. There are a few ways the advisers could take part in the DLC.

The companions still get cutscenes with lots of content, like Cassandra talking to Ameridan. And in Jaws of Hakkon, nobody ever comments on it after it happens, whether you do it before or after dealing with Corypheus.

Because Bioware said the advisers and companions get equal content, but since the main game the advisers haven't gotten a single thing while the companions have.

I imagine they will have lines to say about it in the war room, I'm not sure what else you want. If you've got a LI, they might have something to say, but my LI, Solas, didn't say anything during Hakkon to me. They didn't have much to say about any of it at all, actually, besides one or two one-liners.
People really will find anything to complain about. I told you guys this would happen. lol.

It hasn't gotten so bad yet. No one has declared it a terrible DLC, but I suppose we can give it a few more hours to wait for the time travelers to return. ![]()

I think you missed the thread in the Spoilers section, lol. Well they didn't say bad, more like not something for the Inquisition to handle, Wardens should be.

The Wardens of Orlais are either exiled or working for the Inquisition so...

I'm no Deep Roads expert, but pretty sure there's going to be some creepy ass things to fight down there. #DAI
