My first impression of those dwarfy looking guys with the strange eyes was Kal-Sharok dwarves.  They're supposed to have strange eyes (they're compared to Grey Warden eyes) and strongly implied to be corrupted at the level of Wardens, if not more (I think they actually left evidence of taint during that one War Table mission...)

 

The Wardens of Orlais are either exiled or working for the Inquisition so...

 

Or dead because my canon Inquisitor accidentally got her conscripted Wardens killed on the War Table.  Ouch.

....However, I assume it's not that simple - but maybe it does mean that the Edmonton team could focus on another thing and make it bigger (harder, better, faster, stronger... ;P)

I remember it being said the Austin branch was being shuffled to work on DAI DLC after that one IP was suddenly cancelled.  Guess this is it.

 

So if this dlc was done by Austin, could it be possible that another dlc could come sooner than expected?

 

I hope so, and it's very interesting that it would seem that the main team is working on something concurrently in the background...

I'd be happy with that, I quite enjoyed Omega.

 

It's a shame it isn't post-game, and I'm not a fan of the DA:I darkspawn skins but those are no big deal at all cause we finally get to go back to the Deeproads!!! I would love some more Archdemon/Ancient Magister fluff.

This only added to my doubt of the official year of Kal-Sharok's "rediscovery" as declared by the Assembly of Orzammar. I didn't mention this to my host. As curious as I was, there was an undercurrent I found unsettling. I must stress that he and his helpers were professional and honest throughout. But there was something I can't describe. While he remained hooded, he looked me square in the eye when our deal was struck, unashamed.

Unfortunately, I think the lack of communication between Bioware and the fans is our own fault.

 

We drove them away with our bickering, hate speech, cruelty, complaining, whining, bitching, moaning, and threats. I wouldn't want to come here either. Bioware's going to be blasted if they do or if they don't. If they release it "Why didn't you take longer to make this DLC!" "This DLC is too hard!" "This DLC is too easy!" "This DLC isn't about Solas!" "Why is this stupid DLC all about Solas?" "I hate you for not releasing this earlier." "I hate you for not releasing this later." "Why didn't you release this on last gen consoles" "Why the hell did you waste your time releasing this on last gen consoles??" "Why the stupid deep roads! Everyone hates the deep roads" "Why didn't you go to the deep roads! That's my favorite place!" "I paid for this deep roads DLC and Sandal wasn't in it. I want my money back!" "Why the hell was Sandal in this deep roads DLC wasn't he in Orlais?"Screw Bioware!"

 

Let's not forget, "You released this instead of adding more hair to the game!"

I just looked and I haven't been to the forums or played DAI since May, and I intentionally skipped JoH. I knew a Deep Roads DLC would bring me back. The trailer doesn't look very good, though, so I guess we'll see. Looking forward to it.

What has she written?

 

She was the community manager for TOR at Bioware's Austin studio until early this year when they brought her into the writing staff. They haven't released any story content for TOR since she joined the team, so the first TOR writing we'll see from her is whatever parts she does for Knights of the Fallen Empire. Descent will be the first game writing we see from her as far as I know.

 

Not sure what Morroian has seen of her's. I think she was a journalist before getting the job at Bioware, so maybe that's what he/she is referring to?
