@user: @Mike_Laidlaw Do you think BioWare would be able to do sheaths for the next DA game, if it happens at all?
Mike Laidlaw@Mike_Laidlaw: @user Hey now. We got bowstrings. Let’s not go crazy! (Maybe!)
Maybe they can make non-ridiculously-oversized-weapons too!

let your writers know when you like a line or a scene they wrote. It feeds their hearts & souls.

Uggg I am jealous. I can't take off cause everyone else is already on vacation and I am the only one in the lab. Phooey I say!I've decided to leave the grumps to their grumpiness and I'm taking a half day Tuesday off work and ordering pizza. I'm going to thoroughly enjoy my "boring" dungeon crawl on my fancy next-gen console.

I asked a good question huh!
Anyway wanted to ask this for sometime cuz it bugs me a bit how for example Shadow of Mordor (i am now playing) has them and it looks so good

I'm just wondering how much "mostly" is. I'm guess the writing was still Edmonton but how much did Austin do beyond building the bulk of the areas?
Hall Hood and Courtney Woods wrote the dlc per Laidlaw's twitter. Both are from the Austin team. Nice to see them involved with other projects, makes sense as some Edmonton writers helped out on swtor back in the day. Looking forward to playing it next week.

Witcher 3 does too, but in both games there is one protagonist, and the sword blades are uniform.

To hazard a guess, this is part of the stuff that Austin worked on after (and possibly slightly before) Shadow Realms was cancelled in February?
It makes sense to use part of that studio for the majority of The Descent's developers, since the team that was producing SR is now helping out with ME Andromeda, DAI and SWTOR.
That arrangement would also mean that the core DA team in Edmonton can work on even more DLC, which is what seems to be happening with the qunari/Solas stuff.

As has been made clear from this thread and a thousand others, people will find any excuse to be bitter and unhappy.
Everyone: "I want trees!"
*everyone is provided trees*
Everyone: "Those trees aren't green enough!"
"Those trees aren't tall enough!"
"I wanted PINE trees, not OAK trees!"
Wow, you really believe it? or you are just being dishonest?
Most people wanted Wolf Hunt, even Bioware acknowledged it.
It is possible that we will still have it in the next DLC, but you know (unless you were trapped in the Deep Roads during the last months) people were waiting for something that happens after the main quest, even if not specifically Wolf Hunt. We have plenty (boring) game content, what we lack, and it has been said since day 1 is more main story and not crappy side quests.
I am indeed very excited with this DLC but I totally understand people complaining because this DLC is not what people were expecting and no DLC released until now addressed players complaints.
So what? People should be happy with being completely (as in 100%) ignored?
It is fun and easy to go on repeating popular concepts like "grass is always greener on the other side of the fence" but that is so NOT what is happening here

Can't find the post now, but didn't someone figure out this was a Silent Sister, likely a multiplayer character card? So I'm guessing this is a tease for MP Deep Roads DLC coming out next week

Everybody here - including the devs - know what type of DLC many people demand. It appears however that to create such DLC they simply need time. And - to be frank, if they take their time to create something great, then I'll patiently wait.
Meanwhile, I am happy that I will soon have something more to do (and more stuff to speculate about, especially lore-wise, I assume), while knowing that they're still not done with DAI.

Fan service DLC like Witch Hunt that doesn't add nothing are completelly passable. I only played Witch Hunt because it came with the complete edition.
