So..I'm confused are these weird images related to the descent dlc or something different?

I think so. It sort of looks like a golem viewed from the side. Not sure though.

David Gaider wrote a few Dragon Age books while being the lead writer for Dragon Age, so I'm sure it isn't out of the question for Patrick Weekes to do it if he wants to.

For those asking about the "mysterious images" posts, I decided to fire up Photoshop. This seems to be how the images fit together so far.

 

Sorry that's it's messy, the gradients in the black made it kind of annoying to put together and I didn't spend much time cleaning it up because I'm lazy.

I saw somewhere that the shadows were inspired by Shrieks... And now we're going back into the Deep Roads.

Well it might be in regards to his sequel to The Palace Job, but I'd think the outline and synopsis is already done, unless it's for companies to use to promote it
