I could spend 50 hours harvesting Deep Mushrooms - asking how long something takes is meaningless (and a little shallow).

Eh I don't think it's wrong to guesstimate a figure for the lower end if someone wants to rush through. But the higher end is really up to the player, I agree. I've spent so many hours at the crafting table(s) it's embarrassing.

Yeah he learned after he said that the main game would take 40+ hrs, and then people did a speed run in like 20 or less and were like 'what the hell BW, you lied to me, give me back my money, the game isn't finished, it only took half the time blah blah blah blah blah'

As an aside, I always liked that model of heavy armor from DAO. It's a shame it didn't carry over.

I don't think they usually do anything for a 1 year release other than tweet "yay" and things of that nature.
