Although Silent Sisters take an oath to never speak, their actions on the battlefield say volumes.

No they don't. They cut out their tongues.

Um, part of the oath is cutting the tongues out. They also never grunt, moan or scream. You don't need a tongue for that.

Thanks, now I feel the need to try to scream without using my tongue.

Edit: Yeah, okay, it can be done.

Well, if you want to use semantics, I can too. They don't actually take an oath not to speak, because that would be redundant. They only swear never to make other sounds. But that doesn't really matter. I just thought it was odd to leave out such an important piece of lore. It's fairly misleading, and people who read it without knowing/remembering the lore about the Sisters will not assume they cut out their tongues, so I think they should have mentioned it.

Or to say Labial words, like Baby, or Fab.

Nah it wouldn't be redundant, you can still say a perfectly valid sentence without a tongue. ' I have a bap' doesn't use the tongue, and I'm sure that sentence would be used all the time if Silent sisters didn't take a vow.

You only need your tongue for dentals, gutturals and some liquids (and dental or some guttural double consonants). You still have vowels, labial mutes, some double consonants like 'ch' rough, and liquids like M and non-rolled R.

Don't worry, you'll surely find plenty of opinions regardless of if they played the game or not.

Fair enough, but I still think it's not a piece of information they should have skipped over.

Yeh well I heard from a friend who knows someone who talked to someone who looked at a BioWare employee once in a mirror that the DLC is rubbish and literally  makes you smell bad and was only made to make all the money! Fact!

Fenris has an excuse to not appear as stated by err 'bird person' in game, but Sigrun

Spoiler
currently doesn't have a excuse.

Sigrun has an excellent excuse, being dead.

Just saying.....

Anders didn't die with any finishing moves (ie Leliana).  And only two slides: Living or "dead".

Finishing moves haven't EVER mattered.  I beheaded Arl Rendon Howe more than 16 times, yet he still has his little death-speech.  Leliana was treated the same way.

If the Warden defends the City of Amaranthine, Sigrun was the one to lead the battle against the Darkspawn during the attack on Vigil's Keep with another army at her back. Once again, she and a legion faced the Darkspawn with no hope of survival. This time she did not run.

Although Sigrun seemed intent on leaving for her Calling, departing for the Deep Roads to finish what she started in Kal'Hirol, the Warden-Commander had a knack for finding important and absolutely urgent things to occupy the dwarf. And so Sigrun delayed her long walk into the darkness for several decades, even though she never stopped cracking jokes about needing to throw herself at death.

  • If the Warden does not do any of Sigrun's companion quests, spares the Architect while Sigrun is present, and passes a persuasion check, Sigrun will lose her purpose after the fight with the Mother. She withdraws from her friends in the Order and speaks to them less each day. One morning, Sigrun is simply absent, her bed made and her trunk emptied. A young recruit who has been up in the night says she left for her Calling.
  • If the Warden spares the Architect without doing any of her quests (joining, companion quest), and fails the persuasion check, she will end up opposing the commander and vanishes into the Deep Roads where she will find her death, this time not running away from it.

But with 4 references to death, I don't think Sigrun will return.

We can buy a DLC on PS4 through the app and if my PS4 is on or in rest mode it'll download while I'm away.

So I don't know if this is part of the patch notes or not..but in the SP they added five new creature codex's (previous was sixty).

There are a couple of other categories that got bumped as well. (They won't be in the notes, because you can never find them unless you buy the DLC.)

No new customizable options (mounts, decor, etc.), though. I can't remember if those show up in the patch or not.

I notice they reverted the text size for the description pane in the inventory (or maybe it's tied to the subtitle size option now).
