No I didn't. I said it wasn't coming this year.
I said the survey was still accurate, the game wasn't coming this year, that the unveiling would be minor, that it would be cross-gen and that the art style would change again. Though I guess the last one is still up for debate.

Gotta say though, I LOVED that the Inquisitor at the end of the trailer is not "set" and just a hooded figure.

I am actually glad it has a fall 2014 release date. It gives the impression it's not being rushed. More time to get it right.

The release date is damned if you do, damned if you don't. Bioware releases in 2013 it's rushed, release it in 2014 and suddenly waiting is so hard.

They've been hyping up this reveal for 9 months and this is all we get? For months perhaps? And people said I was out of line when I said development was behind schedule.

Sad it was only a short trailer, maybe Aaryn Flynns interview later will give more details because they wanted "to leave not much questions open", but it answered not much. I guess there wasn't enough time for more in the EA conference.

Funny sidenote (imo):

How it describes BioWare as producers of ME 3 and Origins, not DA II. Even that DA II and ME 3 were their latest (non-mmo) games.

Trailer was very interesting, enjoyable and gave us plenty to chew on. I can't disagree that it was overhyped however. I feel that they've shot themselves in the foot with the buildup.

You've gotta forgive them/us, people are excited. It just shows how high the bar is set. Were it still set for 2013, the paranoia about it being rushed would know no bounds, still ... nah, we got a confirmed date, that's something. Loved how excited Aaron Flynn was on stage.
