Anders didn't die with any finishing moves (ie Leliana).  And only two slides: Living or "dead".

Finishing moves haven't EVER mattered.  I beheaded Arl Rendon Howe more than 16 times, yet he still has his little death-speech.  Leliana was treated the same way.

If the Warden defends the City of Amaranthine, Sigrun was the one to lead the battle against the Darkspawn during the attack on Vigil's Keep with another army at her back. Once again, she and a legion faced the Darkspawn with no hope of survival. This time she did not run.

Although Sigrun seemed intent on leaving for her Calling, departing for the Deep Roads to finish what she started in Kal'Hirol, the Warden-Commander had a knack for finding important and absolutely urgent things to occupy the dwarf. And so Sigrun delayed her long walk into the darkness for several decades, even though she never stopped cracking jokes about needing to throw herself at death.

  • If the Warden does not do any of Sigrun's companion quests, spares the Architect while Sigrun is present, and passes a persuasion check, Sigrun will lose her purpose after the fight with the Mother. She withdraws from her friends in the Order and speaks to them less each day. One morning, Sigrun is simply absent, her bed made and her trunk emptied. A young recruit who has been up in the night says she left for her Calling.
  • If the Warden spares the Architect without doing any of her quests (joining, companion quest), and fails the persuasion check, she will end up opposing the commander and vanishes into the Deep Roads where she will find her death, this time not running away from it.

But with 4 references to death, I don't think Sigrun will return.

Let's not forget that her companion quest was bugged and most never even managed to get all the conversations with her to convince her to stay.

Not sure how difficult it is to update the store a week before launch for people who want to pre-order.

They may be waiting until it's Tuesday in North America, since that's where they are headquartered. So maybe in three more hours it will show up.

They don't let you preorder DLC. It's not a question of difficulty.

I don't think the DLC usually drops until midday-ish my time for PC, and I live in the US.  Some games' DLC (Mass Effect, Sims) would always release at midnight.  It's kind of inconsistent.

I wish The Descent would release at midnight... Oh how I wish...

You know, it'll be there in the morning. Or at least in my case late afternoon.

Origin updates at 10AM PDT.

You'll need to convert that to your local time zone.

I find Origin updates depend. Normally 12-2 pm ish EST but I remember one time  Spoils of the Qunari came up around 11am EST so it kinda depends.

Yeah... Origin might, but again I've seen other games become available (as well as their DLC) at midnight or, better yet, 11:00 p.m.

In the middle of the morning/day/afternoon is no good for me, since I'm at work and then what game time I have afterward will be eaten up by the download time.  (Yes, I know, woe is me, my horrible first world problems...)

I really wish that they'd allow us to preorder things like this.

I totally agree even though I really not a fan of preordering the actual games but preordering dlc without incentives would be nice so I could just have it ready to download without having to worry about when it comes out  and I have horrible internet connection. usally it takes about an hour for 1.5 gb ( I not sure how bad that is compared to other people or maybe other countries but I know tons of people with a lot better than mine. though I can usally play online fine I also need to stop relying on wifi
