The review was highly accurate. Well, except the boss fight for me was super easy. It didn't really do anything much. It unleashed holy hell on Sera (who I revived twice), and rest of my team killed it without effort.

The amount of gold to be made might have been a good payoff for those already level capped except there's nothing left to spend money on lol
I'm currently doing it with a lvl 27 Qunari that hasn't done Here Lies The Abyss yet. she's my completionist quizzy so the gold might come in handy. Yes I know the end of the game will be super easy but I've already completed it twice.

What. The author is a fan of the main game and gave it a good review. And of course a review is going to be biased--that's the point.
"You choose your three favorite henchmen, make a vain attempt to reacquaint yourself with Inquisition’s convoluted control scheme, and dispatch to the area."
Questionable description; certainly opinionated.
"That means you’ll be constantly clicking the “search” button to highlight nearby objects, which is a goofy mechanic that I had almost completely forgotten about since I last played the game."
Same mechanic in TW3; wonder what was said by the same author.
"...and I was repeatedly reminded what a headache it can be to manage your four-person team in up-close fights."
Author's choice of team, options, etc. And he stated he played for six hrs; have already spent at least that much time on one level exploring.
Have no idea what he thought of the Vanilla game; do not care to know currently.

I should tune in to see what he has in that yellow mug this time.
Last week it was Coke, the week before Coffee.
I can only presume this week it'll be juice!

How can take it (if you are a huge fan of the game) or leave it(if you have moved on to other things) be openly biased?
The author seems to have developed opinions of the games extant features. The descriptors used in the review affect the review of the new product.

Well seeing as it's 10 am there I doubt it will be alcohol.

Yeah I thought you were saying that he was overly complementing it. I have edited my earlier post to say that I got the wrong end of the stick from your post.

@Mike_Laidlaw random thought-DAI was like the Starfleet adventure of Thedas (LOVED IT) Would be cool for a Firefly type adventure next
Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw
@RandMoser Pretty good observation! We'll see what, if anything, is next. But I do love Firefly.

Didn't Patrick Weekes and Mike Laidlaw mention crunch not too long ago? Like a month or two ago, if I'm not mistaken. So maybe people are right about the next big dlc release coming sooner rather than later. I want to believe!
I was thinking about this last night and it could indeed be very soon, as in within the next month or two kind of soon.
Aside from us potentially getting an announcement of some kind at Pax later this month and the tweets about crunch a few months back like you mentioned from what I’ve been able to gather from various tweets quite a few of the devs, both from the SP team and MP, are having vacations right now. Rarely will you be able/allowed to take a break in the middle of production. Even once you’ve got through the actual development stage and have the content locked down and are just going through bug testing/fixing stage you don’t really have the luxury to take a break when you’re working with a smaller team. You either have your break before production fully starts or once it’s coming to the end of testing and it’s close to certification.

We need a visit from Ash. The one with the chin or the one with the curves. Your pick.
