And this is what the DAI team has been working on since JoH first dropped for Xbox. This is a big conference. They know they need to impress. I'm optimistic.

*hears chanting slowly building far off in the background* Wolf Hunt. Wolf Hunt. Wolf Hunt. Wolf Hunt!
The PAX program says "worldwide reveal of new content for Dragon Age: Inquisition," so it's definitely something for the game. If you want to keep your hype down you can assume it's multiplayer or Untold Relics or something, but I doubt it's either.
More multiplayer content for Skyhold ![]()
What could it be though? For a brief moment I considered that maybe they'll announce working on DA4, but that message/tweet does specifically state that it's content for DAI... And it just can't be another DLC, so soon after another, even if Descent has been mostly worked on in Austin
Keep in mind that Edmonton has had months to work on DLC after Jaws of Hakkon shipped, and we know that they've been new recording bard songs for ages too.
A leaked marketing survey last month hinted at a final DLC pack, which is what I expect they'll announce at PAX.
Is anyone watching the D&D? I'm curious about what Mr. Laidlaw might have to say.
Thinking about it.

That can't be it though, surely? 3 DLC's?
Edit: Well, damn. I just realized we have indeed had 2 Story DLC's, JoH and now Descent. Mass Effect 3 had 3 (Excluding From Ashes, which was this whole LE/CE DLC but day 1 dlc nonsense anyway).
So yeah, damn, this would be the time to announce the final one. I was at least hoping for a Qunari one then the Solas/final one.
I think I'll just hold out for the announcement of a 2 parter DLC. Otherwise, I think my mind would be crushed thinking we're at the end of the Inquisition journey. Let's hope we get all the goods then, bard songs, extended romance lines, Scout Harding romance, the ability to kill Solas as one of the options for dealing with him (For me anyway).
Could we really be at the end of the post cycle for Inquisition? That's just...intimidating, if that makes any sense?

Don't forget some exploration of Val Royeaux proper! *holds on to her hopes till the bitter end*

I love the soundtrack of The Descent. Will there be some way to get the tracks as mp3 or something like that?
We are exploring options, but not positive how just yet.
Oh! Please yes.
So the 2 new challenges this weekend, one is "Against the Impossible" with no description of what to do lol
So at Pax people will be listening to M & M's.

The Personal Challenge is to kill dragons. You gain a certain number of "points" based on the difficulty.
Dragon points
Going off memory here
Routine dragon: 2 points
Threatening Dragon: 3 points
Perilous Dragon: 4 points
Nightmare Dragon: 5 points
On the PC, you have to gain 25 points.

The Silent Sister fights like my Dwarf Assassin.

Update:

No matter what they are going to announce, at least it is really, really soon.
Silly question here, but when is the PAX conference exactly...? Date wise.
August 29th.
That's at least what they said on twitch ![]()

I don't know when the whole conference is but I just looked up the date of the panel back however many pages and it's 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29.
Right before I leave for vacation....
I don't know if that's good or bad.
Good. We tend to get good things when someone on this thread has no internet access. lol
