I know a lot of people keep saying November being the month the DLC to come out but I have a feeling it MAY be sooner.

in November 10th is when Fallout 4 comes out; and the month before The Witcher 3's first expansion. I don't know how the video game industry fully works, but in a business standpoint: This would be the WORST time to release a DLC. Yes, both are different games, but they're huge RPGs, let alone huge competitors. And being DA:I has been out for a year already at that point, people would focus on the next big thing.

 

Either mid-late September or MAYBE early October is when I can see the Final DLC coming out being from what I'm aware; there isn't a big AAA RPG coming out (correct me if I'm wrong).  It would give them enough time to market, push-out and be played before the TW3's expansion and FO4. Pretty much breathing room.

 

Again, I could be wrong.

Yeah only so much money to go around. $15 for a DLC was a lot according to many here...and Witcher 3's DLC figures to be expensive.

That's assuming that the leaked survey actually said anything that's accurate. It might be however something completely different. 

 

Anybody found it confusing/suspicious, that in last Twitch stream, when discussing stuff about Descent they mention (around 29:00 min into last twitch recording - http://www.twitch.tv...ware/v/10895159 - if anybody's interested) "oh, we probably should be working on something veeeery story heavy", than they say that they've left a little teaser, and THEN Mike Laidlaw asks "why would there even by challenges on Multiplayer with darkspawn, like... who can say?"

 

Sooo... is there more darkspawn content coming that we don't know of?

I certainly hope that you are proven right on the next release, but for the same reasons indicated they may opt to wait until December? Still I don't think that we'll only see one more Inquisition single-player dlc. I suspect that no less than a pair are in order to fully polish things off?

December is the holiday time, which means people will be buying gifts and other holiday goodies; so that may not be the best time neither for DLC. Much better than the other two but if Bioware is announcing something big at PAX and the DLC is already finished, I don't see why they would wait that long to put it out.

I don't know about anyone else but I always felt like I was on the verge of finding another old god or archdemon during the game. Furthermore, there have been hints dropped at times that Dumat still has a presence in the world.

I seriously think this next and last DLC is going to majorly change the rules and we will see just how in 4.

 

Like, you can have another blight, but boring, right? So you have to change the rules of the game- change how magic works or something- bring back all the silly Elvish gods, whatever- that would make it totally different. How do you fight an archdemon with hardly a single grey warden left and a bunch of crazy elven lunatics just let out of jail?

I mean that no, the blight would be DA4. I think that this one you do whatever- whatever end game stuff they have to wrap up Inquisition- but whatever you do -causes- the "change of rules".

 

Like, in Buffy how in the comic they did something and the result was magic no longer existed, then they have to deal with whatever came next without magic.  That particular example wouldn't work in DA, but still. Would be cool to see the results from this next DLC be HUGE and a total game-changer for the rest of the series.

I know that, according to a thread here on the forums, the darkspawn achievement in MP was listed in MP challenges, even though there was no Darkspawn faction in MP at the time. So, I think that's the "teaser" they were referring to. And Mike saying "why would it be there?" is b/c darkspawn hadn't actually been released for MP by the time of the broadcast. Basically, I don't think that was hinting towards anything besides the darkspawn faction being added.

No. No. No. The blight is for the next game. This game DLC sets up the change of rules.

Oh yes and Valta is going to be our female dwarven mage companion along with her army of Sha-Brytol to fight the Darkspawn.

There's already a big hole digged by Venatori/Wardens. I guess it was part of the Grey Wardens' plan.

Yeah, but that's the thing - the context doesn't support just the darkspawn release in Multiplayer. They weren't talking about anything MP-related, but were right in the middle of discussing the demand for something very story-heavy and "oh, we should probably do something about this one day ;P", hence my suspicions this isn't just about MP or Descent....

Yeah but they couldn't get any further due to tunnels collapsing etc remember? I was just wondering if maybe the earthquakes that occur in Descent may have had an effect on that particular dig site...maybe it is more accessable now?

Old gods, are old gods until are they are found and corrupted by Darkspawn, so if Solas were to find the old gods before Darkspawn, no Archdemons. He also appeared to hate the idea of hunting down and killing the remaining old gods.
