You know, I had a theory prerelease that the Inquisitor would turn out to be the Formless One, except s/he had bonded with the would-be Inquisitor and forgotten their true identity, like Cole did originally.

I still kinda hope they explore that angle with a future protagonist.

As to the greatest threat, I still think there's a greater force behind the Blight, something directing the darkspawn to seek the Old Gods that we haven't seen or heard of yet.

Like kind of how BioWare did with Knights of the Old Republic? That would be cool.

Kinda off topic, but in the video accompanying the Leliana bait clip is that the old tarot card face of Josephine before they changed her hairstyle?

What's a Vlrmire style moment.

It's from ME (Virmire is the planet), where you have to make a choice between 2 squadmates - who lives, who dies.

They’ve already done a virmire style moment in DAI with the whole hawke/warden friend choice. Doubt they'd do another in DLC.

Considering that this is not the first time I see them respond to suggestion to put MORE stuff like that to the game (DA specifically) I'd say that the possibility that the DLC may have at least one such moment (if not more !) is pretty much without question right now...

I'd like to see one like a love triangle. If you romance one of a pair of squad mates, the other gets jealous and eventually betrays you to join your enemy as its lieutenant. If you romance neither, they become a couple.

You really need to give it a try. Story is ok throughout the trilogy. The ME Universe with all the different races and the characters in it are amazing.

Ugh, I hated the Virmire decision. Not because of the whole "one squadmate dies" thing, but because of how stupid it was. There were several scenarios that could have easily saved both, but you can't choose any of those because drama.

Sort of like how you could have escaped through the portal in Here Lies the Abyss in the time it took to decide who was staying? Or simply killed the Nightmare, then left? Yeah, if they do these things, they need to make them iron clad.

Or Mordin's/Wiks', Thane's/Kirrahe's, and Legion's/Geth VI's deaths in Mass Effect 3. All of those were easily avoidable.

Yeah, if they want to have character death be unstoppable, they need to make sure it is a situation where there is no alternatives but that.

"One of your people dies" decision does not improve the story. It only brings pain. They better plan better scenerios without the usage of 'death' plot element.

Would Leliana really use Cullen as bait? Let’s LISTEN in... #DAI

If they are following the same pattern as what they did with the descent (just in a shorter time frame) I'm hopefull we might see more adviser content.

I want to see Cullen and Leliana join our team for one last big fight, it could make sense. Have the best warriors / rouges / mages fight by the Inquisitors side displaying the best that the Inquisition has to offer! Kind of like how DA2 ended with the entire party and others fighting by your side, You could drag in support from the Templars or Mages (who ever you sided with) and call upon any and all allies that you have made during the game.

But mostly I just want more adviser content, hopefully this might happen.

What would Josephine get in exchange, considering she wouldn't be fighting?

Yeah. There should always be a way to save both. It can be really hard to do, but there should be a way.

That's generally my opinion of endings too, assuming there are multiple. I want there to be an awesome ending where you win, you live, and other people live too, but it should be really hard to get. It's more satisfying that way too, as opposed to everyone getting an awesome ending regardless of decisions or effort put into preparing/strategizing. That applies to saving both characters as well.

Put in charge of Skyhold and uh.. important cut scenes! Maybe this all goes down during a political event and while she won't be taking part in combat she could be behind the scenes making sure that Skyhold doesn't fall from within. Just like in arbor wilds she'll be there just not in the thick of things!

Am I the only one here who doesn't like Disney endings? Seriously, war is war. There are sacifices on both sides and why only peoply you don't care about could be dying? This is something I love about BW, you actually feel consequences of your actions. It's good when you can avoid your friend's death (like with Mordin, I save him everytime and I also don't want the genophage to be cured  :P ) but for a price. Dealing with world-shaking events shouldn't be easy and we as players are not afraid of every arrow as potential death (like it would be in reality) so the best way for us to feel the pressure of events are CHOICES  ;)

I was more annoyed you couldn't leave both of them to die. Then again, dropping Ashley and then Udina infront of the council was quite a delight

(This has been my daily "I hate a lot of video game characters" message. I hope you all have a pleasant morning, I'm going back to funding Hawke's expedition to the Deep Roads!
