Now will be a good time for me to start that Saarebas playthrough I have been meaning to do.

Now I'm confused what does Skyhold have to do with the Qunari? Are they capable of invading with such force that they reach Skyhold? Or do we just finally get to fix everything?

We're off to see the city, the wonderful city of Arlathan!

Spoiler
Well the survey mentioned something about assassins. It would make sense that they would try and get the inquisitor while at Skyhold where they're more likely to let their guard down and depending on choices made Qunari spies can infiltrate skyhold.
It would be nice if we got a little more info on the history of skyhold and it's origin.
Yeah, Solas knew all about where to find the place...it was convenient (and helpful!) at the time but makes you wonder how a castle like that lays abandoned, and apparently it had a lot of magic aura to it or something?
Background on it would be nice.
It was easy to speculate on the Descent DLC because we knew a bunch of stuff about the Deep Roads etc etc. With the coming DLC, we know Qunari....maybe Solas...I have no idea how to tie this in together.
I wouldn't read too much into every random tweet. I mean, they posted that conversation regarding Cullen's adoring fans the other day.
I saw that being a reference to all the Inquisitors mainly, also it's a refrence to the winter palace so I assumed their might be some political event like the events of the Winter palace.

That is true, they got in once no doubt they can do it again.
The original name is what gets my attention.Yeah, Solas knew all about where to find the place...it was convenient (and helpful!) at the time but makes you wonder how a castle like that lays abandoned, and apparently it had a lot of magic aura to it or something?

The survey said 'Qunari' and 'confront the one who started it all'. So not the last dlc probably. Unless those two are 'fused' somehow.
My understanding is that it was a marketing idea for one DLC, not multiple DLC packs. The synopsis that they gave referred only to one story, and then at the end they asked if people would buy it for $15.
"The last adventure", where we "confront the one who started it all", is referring to the same DLC where it describes us fighting the qunari. There's no indication that they're two separate things.

I mostly wonder where they're going to use those bard songs.
Because well...you need a bard , and the bard need to in a place where you're going to go.
I know that bard in DAI is creeping me out because she's like a ninja appearing everywhere .
So far she's been in Haven tavern , Skyhold tavern , that café in Val Royeaux and at the ball.
Oh god. . . after the survey leak I was trying so hard not psych myself up over a qunari dlc, but now. . .

Just a guess, but the survey mentions new locations - there might be a new Inquisition base camp in one of the new levels where we can hang out with the bard and maybe the advisors.

Yeah it's possible , a huge war camp...
I'm just trying to wrap my head around the potential size of this DLC to be honest.

The survey said expansion, but who knows
The survey said expansion, but who knows
It also said $15 as the price point, which was the same as JoH and Descent, and those weren't huge :/
I'd actually be willing to pay for a proper expansion at this point, I loved Awakening, but supposedly it's just not a good business model for them.

I'd happily pay another $40 for an expansion.
I know a lot of people complained about JoH because they felt it cheaply inflated (size of the map) the time it took to beat it (took me between 9-12 hours) but then Descent was beatable in about 5 and was not expanded (smaller scale map) so much.
WELL WHAT COULD THIS BE ABOUT?
Probably the Qunari.

I did say 'unless'... ![]()
EDIT: I am willing to spend 30-40€ for a bigger dlc. They can have my money. JUST GIVE IT TO ME.

I really wonder if they've re-thought this, just based on the fact that they're announcing something big at PAX. They didn't even do a trailer for The Descent at Gamescom, so why would another $15 DLC get a big announcement at a massive gaming convention? Unless they're announcing DA4 too or something, haha.
