^ I watched the interview with Aaryn Flynn at E3, and I'd go as far to say that it doesn't look that likely at all. He was kind of dismissive about MP, and emphasized a lot their focus on the SP experience.

Maybe BW just can't talk about it yet, and after all we know an online component will definitely be there, but full on MP? I wouldn't bet on it.

To be honest Flynn gave so many vague answers that I was feeling really sorry for the interviewer. I mean, I understand that there is not so many information but he was so strictly formal that you couldn't even guess what their focus is.

Now that the trailer's been revealed are the devs gonna start talking more about the game? After this storm of panicked arm-flailing passes anyway.

I wouldn't say we're just going to start blathering on freely about anything and everything, but the idea was that the E3 trailer would be the start of releasing more information. There's still quite a ways to go until release, which means that there's going to be lots of time to still be a bit patient in releasing information, but I do think it's reasonable to expect more frequent updates (especially compared to the timeline between "official announce" and "e3 trailer").

I thought people from Bioware were going to game convention this summer?
I mean I don't understand marketing and hype ...I know there's PAx australia , it's a really long flight just to show a trailer and keep on with the "we can't talk about this".

Not that meeting fans is not great ...

As long as a bit of information get released every now and then without too huge breaks between them i'm going to be quite okey. It's quite a while left to relase so i expect that a lot of information won't be possible to share until later down the line due to changes maybe coming up or such.

While chastening, it's understandable given the target release date pushed back nearly a year. I was hoping for that "leaves no questions open" announcement though, because it came across like a simple trailer won't be enough, what now exactly happened.

I understand that the game was pushed back, but I bet that was planned from the start. Why not state that in the start that it would be in the fall of 2014.

HEED MY WORDS!

Flemeth is the cause of all of the strife in Inquisition. It is through her machinations that the veil has been torn asunder and the nations of Thedas wallow in unrest.
And Morrigan is actively opposing her.
In your journeys as The Inquisitor you will encounter Morrigan as well as disciples of Flemeth and you will be forced to make allegiances. Ancient artifacts will be discovered, as well as ancient magics. Battles will be fought with sword and wit to maneuver the politics of war.
And when all is said and done the story will lack finality and leave us feeling like there was supposed to be more.

IGNORE MY PROPHECIES AT YOUR OWN PERIL!

I think it's the opposite actually , I think Flemeth want to keep the veil...and Morrigan think it should go.
I think Flemeth may have been around the time when the veil was created and knew why it need to stay.
And she probably help the inquisition back in the day , they fought magic and chaos and the veil didn't tear up.
And the inquisition worship/drink dragon blood .

Anyway It's off topic but if someone wants to create a DA3 crazy theory threat with pictures (and close up ) and everything , I'm all for it!

Honestly, I hope not. She just seems to be so . . . obviously the one everyone would blame. Especially with Morrigan coming back.

I dunno. I really enjoy Flemeth being this sort of vague, morally ambiguous character who doesn't often reveal her true intentions. Imma be super sad if she's mustache-twirling evil.

Also: Kate Mulgrew. <3

Exactly. I never saw Flemeth as the ultimate evil (even less so Morrigan), more like the person/abomination you'd mistrust, and eventually regret it when she saves the day with her ambiguous machinations.
If BW makes her the superevil of the game, that gonna feel so shallow to me.

Do we have a statement regarding the presence of BioWare/Inquisition at gamescom already?

I will feel sad :crying:
I hope that's not their plan though. I don't want to destroy/fight against Flemeth.

I see them slapping the blurb on the dvd case already. I can see it happening just that way, though I do hope there will be some twist or other. Maybe the Masked Empire will add some ambiguity.
Of course, devs could be rolling on the floor about how wrong those speculations are.

The game being delayed wasn't planned from the start. Sheesh. Some people are so dense. It's reasonable to believe Bioware ran into problems finishing the game on time and didn't want another rushed product like DA2 that would fail so they asked EA for an extention and got it.

If the Inquisitor could side with Flemeth it should be fun.

Haha oh man, that's hilarious. Does that mean that room was in the Hawke Estate? I thought we weren't going back to Kirkwall?
