I think this next DLC might just be one plot twist after another.

I'm starting to get that feeling too.
The question is, if we're right, how badly are certain segments going to start howling... As excited as I am about potentially pealing back the curtain, I'm trying to brace myself for the people who Do Not Approve.

game we've been playing isn't the game we've been playing.
I thought Elder Scrolls Jade Empire got weird talking about the fade and stuff. ![]()
Plot twist, Thedas is on the same planet as Jade Empire and Dragon Age is a prequel!
![]()
also somehow reapers are involved who are secretly controlled by Minsc and Boo but Boo is secretly Revan and all of it is a set up for the next Mass Effect game what isn't set in Andromeda but actually a galaxy far far away and the pathfinder works for the eternal empire who actually created the 'new IP' while giving it a secret flaw what will remain unspoken

If it's like "this is all a dream and Thedas is really the Fade twisted to our views" then I think a war might breakout lol but I don't see it heading that way.

Elder ScrollsJade Empire got weird.
I'm an old Babylon Five fan, and I just get a similar vibe in the setup. In B5 it was the Vorlons and Shadows playing chess using the younger races, though we all 'knew' the Vorlons were good because they appeared to all as angelic figures... Until we find out many of the races they influenced they modified so they'd be seen that way. At that point things get weird.

I doubt that too, but you know there are going to be people going 'you should have handled it like (fill in the blank)'

I thought it looked like a little painted wisp of a dragon. (Which is part of why I identified it as concept art rather than a screenshot.)

There's always people like that. Sometimes I agree with them too, but I can't help but feel this DLC is going to settle a lot of confusion. It's the longest awaited and the one probably worked on the longest too. They know what we want and plan to give it to us in time.
Totally not this place.

Well it could be that someone wakes up in an insane asylum and it was all a figment of their imagination. Cut to new ip horror game set in the same asylum."...and then the Inquisitor wakes up at the Temple of Sacred Ashes realising that it was all a dream, the talks went fine and the mages and templars came to an accord. I'm keeping my expectations in check, but still excited either way. (And people will always complain, no matter what happens.) I'm especially curious to see if we'll get an answer about Qunari origins. I've suspected for a long time they might have a connection to the ancient elves somehow, and now the DLC appears to be dealing with both the Qunari and elfy things.

I could see the DLC starting off with everyone seeking out "the one who started it all" and after we settle that mess, it ends with the Qunari declaring war on Thedas and the screen goes black.
I hope this just remains a joke on my part and not remotely true.

Well, you have seen Corypheus's socks. He's the Wicked Witch of the East. It could be a clue.
