It just hit me this just might be the end of the line for a lot of DAO-DAI characters. Seeing as everyone is ready to head north in the next DA game(s). I really hope they can work in as many cameos as possible in this DLC.

I think it was the end of the line was when most of them 'magically vanished' or got turned into codex entries/war table missions.
After all the things my Inquisitor did for power and influence, he will be genuinely surprised that the "trial" didn´t happen sooner. Rather lenient of them.
This might actually be the first Dragon Age game to have romance follow ups (excluding Morrigan) that alone is an exciting prospect.

Yep, that's Vivienne, and I suppose those two guys with her represent Orlais and Ferelden, wich is an bummer. I wanted to see the actual monarchs in this trial.
Nah I think they´ll have to do romance follow ups for everyone since this is the final dlc? So I don´t think it´s just gonna be the solas romance that gets content, or at least that´s what I´m hoping 
( Gotta decide on which Lavellan I wanna take through the DLC first )

It's not necessarily that case , given the fact that it's new protagonist every game gives a reason to keep major companions in follow up installments to keep that sense of connection in the franchise.

That would have been even better! Alistair or Anora on one side, (maybe Teagan's there) and on the other side Celene, Briala or Gaspard.
