As Mark said, nothing has been green-lit yet, but it will be. They just can't say it's a thing until then.
Yeah they're working on it , sort of...most of the people working on DA are now on secret IP.
For now DA is in limbo.
And usually when they work on a new title that's when they say "we can't talk about it".
Now they're saying "maybe there won't be a DA4"
We shall see but for now it seems to me ME and secret IP are the top priorities.
If Bioware can't pull out three franchise , DA will go down the drain.
We'll see, anyway.
The artists, designers, cine folks... everyone went above and beyond to do this one justice. And now I will shut up.

Am fairly confident that there will be a DA4. Am playing a female Eleven Mage currently, and now have a feeling; call it woman's inquisition....

I actually feared they would do that. I hope it's not autodialogue, at least. I hate it when my protagonists curse. It actually makes me physically uncomfortable. Bleh

That happened to me when I spoke to Blackwall once, I picked an option and my Inquisitior said something that didn't match the dialogue option all that much. After that happened I was like "Sheesh, didn't expect that."

September 8 can't get here fast enough.
On a happier note this is the first piece of post-release content I am interested in purchasing (although I will buy the other two when I get this one). We will finally get to see what DAI could have been had they not decided to go with the ridiculously boring 'exploration' focus. Hopefully this means they actually listened to the complaints about DAI (even if it took them 2 post-release deliveries to do so) and if we are incredibly lucky DA4 will essentially be DAI with a more cinematic, main quest involved focus.
I am actually very excited for this DLC, I've been looking forward to seeing where the DA story is going to go ever since I finished DAI.
Part of me kind of hopes they'll up the level cap for the DLC but I doubt it. With Hakkon and Descent it doesn't take much to get to the max level.
