This helmet...looks like it's lost by the owner. Never came back for it. Does it mean we...No, please no.
Nope. NopenopenopenopeNOPE. If anything happens to the Inquisitor, I will be the one feeding somebody their own eyeballs.

I started singing bye, bye, Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry
Them good ole boys were drinking whiskey 'n rye
Singin' this'll be the day that I die, This'll be the day that I die
Seriously, I hope if the Inquisitor has a chance to die, he/she gets to go out with a BOOM! and in style.
Now I want to know if Tresspasser will have Skyhold content
I don't think so as Mike says in the article that the Golden Nug will be somewhere else in the new DLC. They wouldn't need a new place for the Golden Nug if we were going back to Skyhold.
Well, that's not ominous at all... There is an obvious figure in the nearest eluvian, though I'm not sure who. Solas would be the obvious candidate, but maybe it's the Inquisitor? Maybe Levellan decided to disband the Inquisition and "retire" and go through the eluvian with Solas, hence the discarded helmet? It is an eluvian flanked by statues of Fen'Harel after all. And I love the classic dragon shape!
Man, I never notice the dragon shape until someone mentions it. Same goes for the original DA:I game's cover art.

To me it is a symbol of the Inquisition rather than the Inquisitor. I infer that the Inquisitor may choose to disband or abandon the Inquisition in order to run off after the offending individual.
Looking at the picture now, the figure in the eluvian clearly has hair (billowing oh so majestically in the winds of change coolness), so that is probably not Solas, as he does not tend to...billow. Also, silhouette highly reminiscent of the Inquisitor Cover!armor we have seen in literally all previous SP release promo pictures - you know, the "scaly" one. So it seems to be a reasonably safe bet the figure in the eluvian is indeed the Inquisitor.
And very good point brought up by Eagle Pursuit - the helmet was, after all, the first big image released with regards to Inquisition, if I recall correctly, it was the very first piece of armor actually designed (by the PR team, not the art department), so it is likely it would be symbolic. It would not be too bad if the Trespasser ended with the Inquisition disbanding and the team retiring to a beach somewhere and treated themselves to some Mai Tais. Question is how much is the Inquisitor going to qualify for admittance into a Jaime Lannister-ran support group at the end of all this hulabaloo.
Its just with BioWare, whenever they announce something like this, my first reaction is excitement, followed by mortal dread shortly thereafter. I like (almost all of) these characters, and the Quiz-Quiz is my favorite DA protagonist hands down, as of yet. Just please dont hurt them too bad. Or many single tears shall be cried.
Also there's Gameinformer stuff up about the DLC. I'm going to spoiler tag a certain part, because it involves Solas. It's mainly about how he fits into the DLC. Probably means I won't be able to

Sheesh, you really are obsessed with that, aren't you?
What will you do if he turns out to be a tragic hero figure instead of the greatest evil of all? Are you still going to hate him just cause he's bald or som'n?

Now that that's addressed, it looks like I might be able to get my Lady Adaar ready for the DLC! Hopefully all the zones after Skyhold don't take too long, and I'll get them done by the weekend. Then it's the 2 DLC's, then boom.
Has anyone found it if there'll be a thread for the Q&A yet? Quite interested in seeing what they can answer, without Mike's twitter spoiler heroics!
You have my lightsaber.

Solas is like 2-3 godlike beings in one, we're not going to able to kill him/it. And I'd be down with my Inquisitor dying/disappearing mysteriously. Semi-messianic figures don't get happy endings. Bittersweet maybe.
Might be better to take the Solas discussion elsewhere ![]()

Inquisitor: "Guys, we are going to have to go back; I lost my helmet!"
Party: *groan*
Cassandra: "Tell me, you at least remember where you lost it."
Inquisitor: "There's not that many doors."
Iron Bull: "Can't you just make a new one or hey, I got this one - scrape off the blood and it's good as new"
Inquisitor: "It has sentimental value!"
Cassandra: "I think we came this way"
Inquisitor: "No, I'm certain it was that way- Wait, no, this was the floating rock we nearly fell off before."
Varric: "Shouldn't have given that last ball of yarn to Cole..."
This is why I roll Qunari. No helmets needed. Or at least one that can fit me are sold were were at.
ElitePinecone and off topic discussions since... as long as I can remember...
He is our very own Andraste’s hairy eyeball.
There's only one way I can kill Solas

Day 3 commence! Come down to the #BioWareBase this morning, I'm sure you have questions....
I hope those questions asked and answered will be up on line somewhere. Though most likely it'll be Mike shouting "Spoilers!" the whole time.

He did mention doing just that. Or perhaps he will default back to the Magic 8 Ball....
Wait? Has he done that before?! Oh my god, that's great!
