I love Varric but the problem is Hawke. He is so connected to Hawke that he couldn't have that connection to the Inquisitor. He is great. I love him. I enjoy his commentary in Inquisition and his character, but he's not really besties with any of my Inquisitors.
Maybe he was not meant to be. Just another one of your buddies, like Bull or Sera. My Inquisitor bestie was Solas, as an mage he aways saw him as an wise sage esque figure that he could aways look up to for advice.

Yeah i also get that Solas was supposed to be the best friend of the inquisitor unless you are a reactionary (in which case Vivienne would be your best buddy).

Some did (David, Mary, and Sylvia).I thought they moved to new IP?
Hopefully they came back to write for Trespasser too (or at least David, since he left last year).
Just go to the Fallow Mire. There's a bunch of d3 patches all over the place (and most of them don't require fighting anything, since the zombies only come out if you hit the water).Is there any place in all of Thedas that I can buy Dawn Lotus?

That moment when you round the corner and see her for the first time will now forever be horrible for an entirely different reason.

Varric: He's a powerful character because he has no romantic ties and can be your friend. Can ground you and be your support. #BiowareBase
I would nitpick and say that he's not a strong character because he can't be romanced; he's a strong character because he's a strong character. In other words, I don't think having him be romanceable would have made him a worse character in any way. For example, in my first playthrough I was good friends with Cullen in a similar way. He grounded my Inquisitor and was a great person. I don't think the option to romance him changes that - it magnifies it, in fact. Bleh, I might be reading too much into specific wording ![]()
Some things are better left a mystery.
Yes, the way devs make sound effect for games is always... interesting ![]()

Ahahahahahaha.... I need some brain bleach now.
In other matters... I ended up with hardened Divine Leliana in my canon, because I had no idea what I was doing. It's terrifying, and my Warden is not amused. But as far as worldstate choices go, I don't feel that bad about it. It's doubtful I'll ever go that path again tho. My second playthrough ended up with fluffy bunny Divine Leliana, which seemed to be more or less the same in outcome, just with more rainbows and less stabby terror, lol.

But didn't Anders' VA also make out with his fist (please read on, sentence doesn't stop here) for the kissing scene in DA2?
Whatever works I guess.
Ha, wow. I do wonder how they do these things sometimes. I brought this up to my girlfriend after hearing the kissy sounds that happen whenever you take Cullen to the battlements for a break (which also almost never load at the right time, so they sound hilarious). Then she pointed out that that's what we sound like too, we just don't notice. And I was like. "Oh, well... I guess that makes sense then!" ![]()

Figured as much. They've already heavily implied that the base of operations will be at the Winter Palace. We likely won't be seeing Skyhold again ;P
(....which also suggests that Inquisitor either may not be coming from the adventure, or the story will end before they ever reach it, post-everything)

Yeah, I mean, I thought as much as soon as I saw the not!War Table in the trailer and that picture of FemTrevelyan scowling next to a treasure chest (seemingly the provisional Wardrobe) in a blue-walled Orlesian chateau, but there was always the hope that that didn't happen until partway through.

"This was written by @PatrickWeekes so brace yourselves." Mommy I'm scared
@PatrickWeekes @User Look, I'm not MEAN. Nothing terrible happens that you didn't kind of deserve!
@PatrickWeekes is that thing on the qunari girls shoulder in your profile pic the book the inquisitor drops on the floor in the DLC trailer?
@PatrickWeekes
@User Spoilers!
@PatrickWeekes is there a slight possibility for a somewhat happy ending for Solas/Lavellan?
User Well, going by Schrödinger's cat, the ending is both happy AND sad until you play it.
