Why these changes? We ask for new abilities and not to change the existing ones.
Maybe it's the foundation for the new stuff?

Finally getting the patch downloaded.
Kinda nervous about the changes to the KE/AW. And this is a really bad time for the class itself to break.
Nah, I think these were things Luke was talking about changing for a while now.Maybe it's the foundation for the new stuff?
This looks new... or was it there and I never noticed?
I can't speak for everyone, but the Spirit Blade upgrades look awesome even for SP. Haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I'm really looking forward to using both Amplifying Blade and Defending Blade. The description of the new mechanic suits my play style perfectly. ![]()
EDIT: Reworded a little
Checking out the game now!
I've always loved AW/KE being a melee mage, and while I don't use the blade exclusively, I worry that it's going to be increasingly necessary to play it as a caster that occasionally throws a blade. They're supposed to internalize their magic for the most part, putting that into strength and defense. It's the lore, and it's what makes them unique. More of a blades user that occasionally uses spells than the other way around.
And it sounds like the MP AW has lost defensive blade, which concerns me even more. I was never happy with the damage nerfs, but I accepted them. But making it even more difficult to tank an AW is actually edging towards my limits of what I can shrug off.
*sigh* I'm just venting some nervousness that may be completely baseless. In another couple minutes, I'll find out for myself.
I just don't get it. It didn't harm anyone and allowed people to do stuff without as much tedious farming.
Why would it be in Haven? We wear our armor in Haven.
For what it's worth, I miss it too.
Guess some tired of seeing the PJ's in the War Room.
Nah, that I can live with. I'm just disappointed we'll be eternally stuck in our beige pajamas during the awesome and important intro to Skyhold and coronation. If any scene would benefit from our Inquisitor looking better, it's that one.

It looks like that Multiplayer is ruling the Dragon Age game.
A lot of restrictions with abilities and items, as no healing, no magic schools, limited potions.
No more multiplayer in Dragon Age games or no more restrictions because online mode.
Create a game to add and not to subtract. Please!
Which still has nothing to do with MP
I wouldn't be opposed if BioWare added in cheat codes for you to use so you could do whatever you wanted, but that store was broken and needed to be fixed.
Well, technically it was optional. Players who wanted normal gold amounts could go to another store to sell, just like players who wanted more had to tediously keep going to the Deep Roads vendor.
Hmm, interesting. They don't say so in the patch notes, but I noticed that they seem to have fixed the invisible Spirit Blade bug.
Yay!
There are other places to discuss the changes to abilities, thanks.

Sorry.

Also not much to talk about besides the day's news, since we're avoiding spoilers in here too. There are also places to discuss the Wardrobe and Golden Nug, but personally, I don't mind talking about them here too.
Welp, looks like I'm off on mini-hiatus until release. The next four days are going to be soooo much longer now I have to get through them on my own instead of with the company of all of you, but I don't want to be spoiled
. See you on the flipside, all.
And as we come up to the last DLC release and head into the long darkness between Dragon Age games, I just wanted to say that the twitter thread has been a wonderful ride these last three years. Thank you, ElitePinecone, Hrungr, lynroy and everyone else that makes it great
.
One thing people have noted(correctly!):we did some tweaks to the way anims work when looting/picking herbs. Should be much faster/smoother.
There were a few "passion" features for certain devs that made it into this patch. Hope you enjoy them!
@Mike_Laidlaw passion features?

User@Mike_Laidlaw passion features?
Things they undertook on their own initiative and pitched to @BioMarkDarrah for inclusion.
Speaking for myself, I'm going to say yes. Golden nug to and faster gathering a very much appreciated. Don't even mind the alterations to KE from what I've read, seems it will add some much needed strategy to the character. Find out when the new DLC drops.
I don't really pay much attention to looks so the PJ's didn't bother me as much as some, but that seems to a big winner. LOL
I love all of you, wonderful people, but I also would like to avoid spoilers going into the DLC. Catch you on the flipside. Or, you know, the Mass Effect section
Stay awesome everyone ![]()

I THOUGHT the herb picking was faster. It's the little things!
Now I don't have to spend as long picking herbs while the rest of the group fights ![]()
So excited for this DLC! Have to fire up the game today and download the new patch as well. Sounds like a lot has happened while I've been away!
What about using search on mounts?I THOUGHT the herb picking was faster. It's the little things!
