why did new update not allow for different formal attire during Wicked Eyes/Hearts? Also why can't you wear mask during ball?

hello there sorry to bother u but i'd like to ask if there's a reason why tier1 shematics won't transfer through the golden nug between the different playthroughs or if it's a bug? Thanx

I'm just glad my PS4 got back to me. It had a faulty HDMI connector and it finally got to the point that I had no choice but to send it in for repairs before my warranty ran out. I can now play Trespasser. Alas, all my save data is gone post-refurbish, so it looks like I'll be replaying the entirety of Inquisition! Surely I could have thought this all through better, but whatev, I don't overly mind. It's been a solid six months since last I played and there's a fair bit of DLC for me now.

Hey, you'll be able to experience most of the Skyhold cutscenes without the beige pajamas at least

Deliberate omission, as they are remarkably common to find.

 

Somehow that's really annoying. I like to craft level-appropiate armour and weapons and was really excited to have all lower tier schematics available without having to look for them all over again. Then of course they would not sync those. Amazing.

I didn't mean to suggest that this is definitely how people would react to the Inquisition 2 years later. I was just . . . sharing the whimsy. Because it's Saturday. And I'm still drinking coffee. And trying to decide whether to do one more PT after my current one before playing Trespasser. Or 2. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

It does, actually. I let my PS+ subscription run out, though, and it's tied to that. (PS+ is Sony's version of Live [Gold], in case you are unaware.) I never expected the weirdness of the HDMI port to get to a point where I couldn't view anything. =\

Bioware please sync all schematics if you're going to sync schematics. It is confusing and annoying otherwise. And the reason you gave wasn't a good reason. Hoping for an update that changes this sooner rather than later.

One of my biggest reasons for not getting into the new consoles is that I don't want to deal with subscriptions when I don't have to. Maybe this'll change with higher and more stable income for myself, like I used to have, but it probably won't, because I think I'll still dislike subscriptions, because they suck, so there.

 

I have a PS3 and a PS4 and when my friends buy a new console, my first advice is to subscribe on PS+. Too much good for little money. Free games every month, cloud backup for saves, discount on games... It's worth. I'm saying it even when I pay twice the right price for my country, because when I got mine at first time, there was no store on PSN Brazil (my acc is from Portugal, brazilian price is R$100/year and I pay R$200/year because of euro value).

Our biggest problem is remembering when it needs renewed. But $60 a year or whatever it is for an xbox gold isn't bad when you do it upfront.

Wonder why it's different in those two trailers.

Wasn't anything like having to switch back and forth between HDMI 1 and 2, was it? I have that problem with mine. Have to turn my tv on and let it sit for a second before turning my PS4 on otherwise it's just a black screen. Sometimes it'll go black mid-game.

Nope, the actual HDMI connector was bad -- apparently a super-common problem -- and just really cheaply-made to the point that when I unplugged my cord (and I did so gingerly!) the pins in the slot literally just... fell off. I didn't change cords often or anything, either! I did some research and it sounds like the biggest problem with the console design-wise, and the Sony rep I spoke with was totally apologetic, in a fashion that suggested to me that she's had to recite this particular script hundreds of times. Haha.

 

Anyway, I am also sorry for the OT!

Agreed, it's not a good reason. It's bad for completionists like me who just want everything, it's bad for people like Alineinabook who want to use level-appropriate gear, and it's bad for people who just want to look nice over having good stats. Plus as Swoby said, it's needlessly confusing. So yeah, please amend this.

Anyone else find that kind of odd? That for some reason people in the US (and apparently Canada) treat cursing differently than elsewhere? It seems especially that they toned it down for the non-english-speaking regions, since generally people care less about cursing in non-native tongues. It's also odd because presumably the line won't be changed in the game, only the trailer. Just random thoughts.

I think it's more to do with broadcasting regulations, I know there are lots of rules about what can and can't be shown in advertisements on UK channels. I believe Bloody was used instead of f****** as the latter is deemed offensive and inappropriate. I don't know much about how other countries do their adverts or if EA even do adverts on TV for DLC but I assume its all done to meet another countries broadcasting standards (even if it's only on youtube?) 

But speaking as someone from England I find we swear quite a lot, quite often it can be affectionate. I tend to think US swears for drama / shock reasons then anything else.

I prefer keeping my games. I'm not so far into that mode that I require physical storage copies, but I don't like renewing a membership for games, especially with my erratic gaming patterns.

 

I have cloud backup for saves already on the PC.

 

I get games discounted by over 50% regularly on PC.

 

I'm not PC Masta Race here, just not psyched up for paying a subscription, especially on a separate console.

 

I think consoles have their place and their use - I just don't think the present iteration of what gaming consoles are, fits well with me. Maybe in a year, or a few years from now.

I would love if DA4 started at Weisshaupt, and continued a Grey Warden focus (more than DA2 and DAI at least), as it moves into a greater Tevinter (+ more) focus.

If you make him a Warden maybe he doesn't come back to help? I mean, his responsibilities will be with the Order, not with the Inquisition anymore. Kinda like what Laidlaw said about Cole, if you don't help him, he doesn't return. Maybe based on your approval ratings with him by the end of the game he could send a letter? Idk, I just don't think anything related to the Wardens will be addressed in this DLC, there seems to already be quite a lot to go through.
