Dragon Age: Inquisition's Trespasser DLC is a decent send-off for the Inquisition. Our review: http://go.ign.com/JY7EDj7

There wasn't enough CoD in the DLC.
"Unresolved story" well DUH, it's a series...
Mine is on it's way! I hate CoD if that helps ![]()

IGN is for casual gamers. I haven't been able to take them seriously for years. Now they are trying to be the TMZ of gaming.
There's still some douche who listen to IGN's rants seriously. IGN also do movie reviews. How dare they. ![]()

Sounds like they could be working on a vertical slice for DA4. It would make sense if they’re not green lit yet, they need to show something to EA to get the funding. Sales figures alone aren’t enough to get a game off the ground.
What's a vertical slice?

What's a vertical slice?
It's when they create a brief demo of how they would like the game to appear with various features (before they really get into building it). The vertical slice isn't necessarily indicative of how the game will actually be built/appear though. Vertical slices are often over-idealistic versions of how they'd like the game to be.

Mission: Safety First (September 11 – 14)
After last week's mad scramble for medals, the infirmary has seen quite a few of you more often than they'd like. We've heard rumors there's soon to be a push from our enemies, and I want everyone whole and hale to meet them. Take no unnecessary risks, and bring yourselves home in one piece.
—Commander Cullen
Agent Goal: Complete five matches with no one dying
Inquisition Goal:
PC/PS4/Xbox One: Less than 50,000 agent deaths
PS3/X360: Less than 10,000 agent deaths
Agent Completion: Agent awarded a Commendation Chest.
Inquisition Completion: All agents awarded a Victory Chest.
This weekend’s event begins at 10 am PDT Friday, September 11, and ends at 5 am PDT Monday, September 14.
Good luck!

Trespasser was good but I wouldn't stop the Inquisitor's story there if I were them, if feels incomplete. Bioware should reconsider doing another story DLC or an expansion and perhaps new specializations, new game plus and no level cap would be nice.

I have a feeling that we'll see the Inquisitor again in DA4. S/he may be the boss or an advisor. And I'm okay with that.

Can't say that I am though, given the choice I made at the end, it would just be meaningless for a new protagonist if we face Solas again.
Depends on how they do it. They'd likely introduce him in a different way. You also have to remember each game is made to be semi-stand alone for all those new players, so they'd have to reintroduce him regardless.

Exactly. Hawke was clearly a proto-type of this. He was pretty cool in DAI and I enjoyed his presence and how it linked DA2 to DAI. I am not saying it was perfect, but it was a cool new trick Bioware brought out. I am 85% certain that Inquisitor will be the Hawke of DA4. Part way through the story we will find out You-Know-Who is behind some of the bad things what be happening, and at that point the Inquisitor will appear to bail us out of something and we will ally with him to solve whatever problem ails Thedas now.

Really? I consider that generous.

Hopefully they don't ruin the Inquisitor like they ruined Hawke for a lot of people.
