I think Dinklage was not well received. From what I hear, he did not put his best foot fwd.

At any rate, yes! talented voice actors are extremely, extremely important to me. They literally make or break a character with their performance.

Idk who "the folks that make these games" is referring to. EA? The industry at large, bu don;t 'eff it up whoever you are.

Interesting. I didn't play Destiny but I googled what you said and it does seem like Dinklage was not well received at all. Interesting. Well Nolan North should be perfect for it, he's got a great voice.

I can't imagine our Dragon Age, or Bioware games in general, without the incredible voice actors that the company has used in the past- they should be paid their worth. I much prefer as well that they use actors that are perfect for the part and don't rely too heavily on "known" names- if it works, like Freddie Prinze or Tim Curry, but not just to attach a big name for sales reasons.

Anyway, I also hope they don't **** it up.

I want to give some context to the latest tweets from several Bioware /EA voice actors- who don't actually seem to link the issue, but unless we as consumers understand it, it's irresponsible to support it.

http://www.sagaftra....e-stand-to-lose

That said, I'm a bit torn, because I hate for companies, even big companies like EA, to lose any part of the gameplay or performance, the game shouldn't suffer because extra money budgeted to the actors may have originally been budgeted to extra features. But I want the voice actors and performance actors to have fair contracts. I don't want the smaller companies to suffer over this. I'd like their side, besides greed, because there has to be something more.

Eventually that could prove a nice cheap way to pick up the DLC.

I will buy this right away when it's as cheap as Origin's Ultimate Edition. Would be a great way to get the DLC.

I can't watch the trailer- anything at all other than what we've already gotten?

Yeah, we already paid 2 games in order to get all DLC, my credit card didn't even compensate the last one and there is the definitive edition. Lesson learned.

Okay awesome. I'll just get that when I switch over to our new xbox. My husband and I previously shared but we're each getting our own console and so I'm going to have to rebuy the game under my own name since live users can't share games. Too bad I can't transfer saves. (or maybe I can and I'm just stupid? )

The bundle will include the base game, Jaws of Hakkon, The Descent, the deluxe edition upgrade, Spoils of the Avvar, and Spoils of the Qunari add-ons.

-------------------------

I hope the Deluxe upgrade includes the new music and bard songs.

The Deluxe Upgrade mentioned in the trailer contains the additional items that came with the Dleuxe Version last year (Soundtrack, Dragon Armor, a few mounts).

I'd also like to see the new music released though.

What console were you using before? You can actually migrate XB360 saves to the XBone, if that's the case for you.

A flop, they said.

EA is hiding how bad the situation was, they said.

No doubt they're releasing a GOTY edition just to recoup their losses before abandoning the franchise.

With only twenty-four hours in a day, you don’t always get to play as many games as you’d like. We feel your pain. However, we’ve got some great news: if you’ve been waiting to start your Dragon Age: Inquisition adventure, you can pick up the Game of the Year Edition on October 6, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One!
IMAGE_01_EN.jpg

What makes the Game of the Year Edition so special? We’re so glad you asked! Here are ten reasons why this is the definitive Dragon Age: Inquisition experience:

1.       The winner of over 130 Game of the Year Awards – Critics and players agree that Dragon Age: Inquisition is an essential, must-play adventure!

2.       Every DLC – This edition includes all the story and gameplay content ever released: Jaws of Hakkon, The Descent, and Trespasser.

IMAGE_02_EN.jpg

3.       Deeper customization – You’ll also get all the official add-ons: Spoils of the Avvar, Spoils of the Qunari, and the Deluxe Edition upgrades. These include specialized gear, legendary weapons, diverse mounts, and even unique elements to personalize your home base.

4.       Create your Inquisitor – Who will you become? Use Dragon Age: Inquisition’s robust character creator to explore your imagination and shape your Inquisitor.

5.       Lead the Inquisition – Recruit a team of legendary warriors and lead them against an ancient evil threatening to destroy the world.

6.       Explore a vast world – The world of Thedas is enormous! Journey through lush forests, windswept coasts, arid deserts, creepy bogs, and more.

IMAGE_03_EN.jpg

7.       Your choices matter – Alliances will be forged, enemies will be made, and you’re the one in control. As Inquisitor, you’ll be faced with many decisions, and your choices will shape the world around you.

8.       Did somebody say dragons? – Do you have what it takes to defeat the apex predators of Thedas? Succeed, and the spoils of war can aid the Inquisition. Fail, and you’ll end up barbeque.

IMAGE_04_EN.jpg

9.       Craft unique items – Collect valuable raw materials and crafting schematics to create powerful new weapons and armor. You can also name them, so if you want to call that two-handed spiked maul with +30 damage to demons “Fifi,” you totally can!

10.   Adventure with friends – Hop online and join parties of up to four agents of the Inquisition in multiplayer mode. Choose your path and enemy faction, then battle for loot and experience points to make your agents a force to be reckoned with.

It is what I try to tell myself, hope it failed... I know it is hard but I try, the alternative is despair. Seeing a next game considering how worse they managed to get from one instalment to the next fightens me to death =(
I still want the story to continue, but each game the pain of playing gets worse, Im really afraid to see something worse than Inquisition, I don't know how they came up with such disgusting gameplay but if they managed to do that I'm afraid they can do even worse in the next game.

We can only hope the next one fails as well. Personally have 900+ hrs and am on my third full campaign; also have some other starting characters in the wings.

What's up with all the negativity about "I hope it fails" here? I for sure will buy the next installment if there is one. I want to know how the story concludes, how my choices from past games play a role in the next games. I'd also like to see the rest of Thedas!

The only thing that concerns me is the final Patch; hope it is included and we receive it before then.
