Judging from a recent conversation between David Gaider and @patsquinade (who I think is Patrick Weekes?), Patrick is doing the word budget for whatever he's working on.

 

(That's the thing where they figure out how many lines of dialogue they can afford, given the cost of voice actors and localisation, etc.)

 

At least it makes "potential new Dragon Age" seem a little more real

^ As awesome as that is -- and I'm always happy to see DA getting any sort of praise -- I don't really think that counts. The Guardian even basically admits that it doesn't in their descriptive post about it:
 

Customisable player-protagonists don’t get chosen too often for these sorts of lists, usually because their agency is mostly decided by the player, making them more of an avatar than a character. But in Dragon Age, the female Inquisitor is the very personification of the term “badass” no matter how you play her – whether that’s as a butt-kicking, kinky, sarcastic dwarf, a towering Qunari warrior or a staid, willowy elf.

 
You can have the exact same character and make the exact same choices as a male. I suppose the option to do it as a female is an achievement by itself, but that seems to be pretty common in RPGs, no?
 
However, Vivenne is also on the list, and that is super f-ing awesome. Actually, all the ladies of DAI are just awesome.

Although she comes across as a beautiful, stone-cold, unfriendly snob for much of Dragon Age Inquisition, once you get to know Vivienne, the pain and suffering behind it all just tumbles out: her icy facade is a defence mechanism. When asked to compare her to a dish, one of the character’s creators chose “Ortolan Bunting”, in which a bird is blinded, force-fed and then drowned in armagnac before being roasted – basically, caged and suffocated by elegance, just like Viv.

 
Although I somehow don't think she would approve of "Viv."
