I'm so jealous of cosplayers like the one doing Dorian and Fenris in that video.  It seems like something I would have really enjoyed had it been a thing when I was younger.  It doesn't seem like the type of thing one should start doing when one is 46 years old.  *sigh*

I've seen some older cosplayers. It depends on the costume: you'll look a little silly as Nami from One Piece, but Flemeth is viable.

Just don't be the 80-year-old lady dressed as Felicia from Darkstalkers, for the sake of everyone's sanity.

I've seen some older cosplayers. It depends on the costume: you'll look a little silly as Nami from One Piece, but Flemeth is viable.

Just don't be the 80-year-old lady dressed as Felicia from Darkstalkers, for the sake of everyone's sanity.

 

I don't know, I like the idea of grannies being brave enough to do whatever the f*** they want; they've lived that long, I think they deserve it. People who don't like what they see can always look away.

Hell, I wouldn't recommend most YOUNG women to cosplay as Felicia. There's "brave" and then there's "violating public decency laws."

Screw that! Cosplay is about having fun and showing love for the characters and fandoms you love. Whether it's 20 years old or 80 years old we're all just mega nerds dressing up as cartoon characters amongst our own kind it's never too late to start cosplaying.

Not into cosplay much myself. However, I was considering if I were able to attend a major gathering that I could get someone to turn my walker into something like Firefly, the Enterprise, an Aravel, the Normandy, etc.

lol I dunno. I love Fenris on his own, but the Dorian one has more jokes and actual lines. Though I CAN totally see Hawke doing all of that stuff, so... lol

 

The reason I like the Christmas one is for Fenris's facial expressions, which are perfect for the scene XD.

I know the DA team is a skeleton crew right now while they're in (we guess) pre-production, but hiring someone to hit Patrick with a foam bat every time he puts an apostrophe in a name might be a worthwhile investment. I assume this used to be David Gaider's job .

 

(I mean, I'm sure Mike could do it, but probably he has other stuff to be getting on with.)
