So, that's the most upfront admission he's writing a new videogame character we've gotten so far, right?
No, he tweeted earlier that it's "novel writing" time.

Ah. That actually makes more sense with what he's tweeting above. Thank you.

Any chance it might be a new DA book? I'm not really up to date with what to expect in the next 2-3 years.

I'm not sure? But I suspect it might be his own novel.

I haven't heard either way... But I'm gonna to cling to the thin thread o' hope that it is until I hear otherwise. ![]()

I hope so too. Much as I appreciate them releasing the Magekiller series, what I really want while I wait for DA4 is a full-length novel to get immersed in and hyped about. Plus Weekes was fantastic when he wrote The Masked Empire.

Who knows he might do a novel about Tevinter before DA4 like he did with Orlais. Some groundwork to explain the political situtaion and tension with Qunari.
That's what I meant by the past three. They're boring and I hope they make the next one better than Witcher.Me too; hope it is as fun as the past ones.

Call me crazy, but if I played the first three games in a series and considered them boring, I would not cross my fingers and hope that the fourth title would suddenly start appealing to me.
I found Grand Theft Auto IV to be pretty boring myself, so I didn't go out and buy Grand Theft Auto V thinking, "Surely the next installment in this popular franchise will change its gameplay to suit my tastes!"
I would really enjoy a new Dragon Age novel. I enjoyed The Masked Empire, and I have also been reading Patrick Weekes The Republic Series. I really enjoy his writing and character development.
To be honest...I just need anything Dragon Age related (except Heroes of Dragon Age, I can't stomach it.)

You don't like DA and The Witcher was not satisfying enough? You don't ask for much, do you?

I'm really hoping we'll see a novel set in Tevinter as well before the game comes out. It'd be nice to get a sense of the Tevinter and Qunari "street level" cultures as well.

I just amuses me to no end that that coffee machine has two dispenser nozzles. Or perhaps its an espresso machine made to do two cups at a time and that's just a big mug? lol
No I'm definitely satisfied with Witcher! DA is good with storytelling and likable characters but their gameplay needs a lot of work.I would really enjoy a new Dragon Age novel. As long as it doesn't tease me with descriptions of a Minrathous I'll never see... T_T
This book talk reminds me-- I still need to read Last Flight. Which also reminds me that Last Flight didn't seem to have much obvious tie in to DAI, from what I understand. Other than a theme of "what once was lost can be restored" or something, maybe? Was there a more obvious connection to this game's content that I am unaware of? If not, perhaps that means it'll tie more into the next game. I mean, Tevinter is right next to the Anderfells, after all.

Yeah, there wasn't a connection to DAI, but I think the implications of Last Flight will almost certainly tie into a future game. It's well worth a read btw!
I also saw @SamMaggs in the hallway and trolled @Sylvf1 by pretending I didn't know who she was, so I call today a success.
I did this too.
Epler, you and I are one. Our love is perfect and true.

that's part of the true BioWare experience.
Yup.
Eventually you learn to make *other* people cry first.
