Can anyone recall how many years after the release of DA2 did we get the first bits of concept art for DAI?
It didn't take too long, apparently; the earliest article I can find that contains concepts was published in August 2012:
http://gamerant.com/...-age-3-details/
Since DA2 was released in March 2011, we can conclude it took less than 18 months for DA:I concept art to start showing up.
In comparison, if we add 18 months to DA:I's release date, which was in November 2014, that brings us to this year's May.

Well, so far we have...what? A cool book with a picture of a tower with a flame? wolf? fox? The color blue, a weird shape circle thing that is vague but interesting, a photo of the Winspear Opera House, and a survey about a tactical DA game. Anything else?
What does it mean? I must know...
yet...I love the anticipation with all the clues.

Fingers crossed for another leaked survey.
Or a "leaked" survey.
Give it to me, Bioware.
I hope not... I'll have to drop out of the forums earlier than I'd planned =/. I tried my damnedest to avoid that previous one as well, but wasn't always successful because of thread titles and references people made in other, unrelated threads.

But you missed out on such fascinating characters like "dramatic hands mustache guy" and "scribbles!"

Those are my two favorite nicknames for the unknown characters. I did catch some of that, but not the bulk. I left the proto DAI forums shortly after the romance options were announced. I don't see the point in engaging in wild speculation and don't really find it fun at all.
However, it's a shame that the whole Boaty McBoatface thing happened when it did, because we could have called Blackwall Beardy McBeardface. Although I admit that Ser Bara is pretty good. ![]()

See, speculating about spoilers - DHMG! Bara Warden! - is my favorite part.

Remember when we thought Solas was Dorian and confused the hell out of David Gaider? Ah, good times.

The good ol' days! *sigh*

What's most perfect is both those descriptions accurately describe their characters.

When it was revealed that Solas was gated to female elves, I remember people worrying that would mean he'd want to settle down and have babies. Hah!
We were so young then.

Remember when we didn't know who the gated romances were yet, and people said 'obviously Solas won't be one of them, he wants to be considered as more than just an elf, so he can't be racist!'
I don't think I realized exactly how wrong people were about that until he told my dwarf she was a credit to her people. (Solas: hella racist even when he's trying to be nice to you!)

He tells the human Inquisitor that most humans are "brutish" and some other things. Sigh... I really wish there was a more appropriate response in the scene, like, "Thanks, I think..."

At least if he hates you you get to punch him in the face when he says racist things! I think some kind of 'what the !@#$% did you just say?' in that conversation was the dialogue option I missed most in the entire game. (And I'm counting 'I know what Mythal is, thanks' and 'I'm a dwarf, how am I dreaming?')

[DRAGON AGE]: What can you tell us about Solas?[PATRICK WEEKES]: He’s pretty straightforward, honestly. Just your average elven apostate who voluntarily joins the Inquisition in the middle of the mage rebellion to lend his expertise with the Fade.[DA]: “Average,” huh?[PW]: I like to keep it simple.

Oh, the pain.

I remember those brutal final days of revealing the remaining LIs. Is it Varric, Vivienne, Blackwall, or Solas? Who's bisexual? WHO'S DRIVING THIS THING?!
Those were dark days! Although they lead to what may be my favourite BioWare forum memory of all: the night of the Fishquisition, when the romance mega-thread lost its collective mind and we all started posting pictures of fish that reminded us of Dragon Age characters. (Look, it made sense at the time. Sort of.)
