With possible implications for DAI, Battlefield 4 developers DICE are currently investigating ways to transfer player data from current-gen to next-gen consoles.

Both games run on Frostbite 3, though not sure if this actually affects anything.

Does this mean to core of the game is completed? If so, they really are doing a GREAT level of polishing and making the game something to  over

.@[user] All internal for early stages. We start deliberately low-fi with presentation, so it takes a Dev to decode the intended product.

So the core may (or may not) be completed in the sense that it's possible they've implemented the main story in the engine, but it isn't completed in the sense that it would be playable for (or even make sense to) anyone outside of development. At least that's what I take from it.
