David Gaider said that there will be no gay romances for "practical reasons" only bi and hetero.

About Cullen is not gay if he would never fall in love with the female grey warden mage.

He said that everyone should have the same number of options
So if the ressources are limited (most likely), every LI will be avalible for both genders

Inquisition suggests a religious order trying to supress another. I want to see the main character follow the Clayne pagan religion (forgotten the name...). This would nestle in nicely with Morrigan's god baby.
Andraste was from one of these tribes- but the Chantry spread dogma disregarding this.

Society is supposed to be cultured and proper, but to have all these instinctual emotions flying all over the place, such as all the turmoil in the Circle towers, it's nothing but raw anger and frustration. I don't want some self righteous Chantry character muddling it all up. The Clayne religion remind me of life in the Wilds- survival is foremost. Please give us a pagan character, it would be so interesting!

Well, I put story+characters aside because that is something that I wish to experience once the game is installed and running on my computer, not before.

My next picks would be combat footage showcasing different tactical appraoches to a variety of fights in the game. Also, previews of each class's ability trees and specializations. Finally, details about crafting and rumored equipment customization.

I'm a theorycrafting+combat nut so these things would get me really pumped for the game.

Also, maybe a screenshot of Morrigan doing something cool?

I hope he isn't a romance option  Oh the pain the delicous pain, Oh the tears the sweet tears as Cullen fan flock to the forums and express their rage at the fact the he isn't romancable.

I don't belong to Cullen's fans, but it's a good guy and handsome one too! So I thought 'Why not romance him' in DA: I.

Eh, from what I've seen, Cullenites are generally pretty laid back. I'd love to romance Cullen, but mostly I just want to see a well written continuance of his story and character development, whatever direction that may go. Romancing him would just be a bonus. ^_^

But hopefully they'll announce that Cullen is a gay romance only. Oh the retcons! Oh the humanity! The fangirls shall weep bitter tears and drown the world in their screams.

Only then, will David Gaider's malevolence be complete.

Hopefully David Gaider and the rest of the development team recognize that wanting to "punish" female Bioware fans who want to romance a particular character is immature and stems from a place of "everything women desire is bad and wrong", and they won't fall into that trap.

I joke a lot, very rarely am I serious in a few lines. If I'm serious I generally give a long explanation why I believe such and such. Also I don't believe "everything women desire is bad and wrong" no I was raised by my MOTHER alone I have a great amount of respect for her, more than not I have an intense disdain towards my own gender because my own father was an alchoholic and not only abused my mother but me as well! But at heart I am a misanthropist.

A friendly warning be very careful of what you imply of other posters. I'm generally very friendly and forgiving others are not.

since it's the Internet nobody has the choice but to take your statements at face value. More explanation is always a good thing.

for my part, I really like Cullen. But I'll be thrilled to have him in any future DA stuff in any form, and if he's not romanceable there won't be any fan girl tears coming from this direction. The writers know best what to do with their characters and hopefully there will be an option to romance someone equally as steady and unique instead. :)

I quoted both of you because it's a common sentiment on these forums.  And as brushyourteeth says, I have no choice but to believe you're serious if you don't make it obvious that you're making a lighthearted joke.

I really don't care about friendly warnings, I'm not worried about your forgiveness.  You're making a very common, tired joke about the female players that enjoy Bioware games, and just because YOU know you're not serious about it, doesn't mean other people can read your mind.  I get that you're offended, but too bad.  Every woman who enjoys video games has to deal with men "joking" about ruining their experience or alienating them every day.  If you make that sort of joke, expect to be called out for it occasionally.

I guess BSN has seen the last of complaints about the release date.
I so don't want to be in the dev's shoes right now to answer their followers on Twitter... this probably confirms they'll talk more about it on Gamescom.

and the return of multiple player races are just a few of the ways BioWare is addressing feedback from previous titles in order to shape a new future for the franchise.

Terrible article is wrong and terrible. Seriously, Gameinformer, featuring the game as its cover piece, doesn't even have huge facts straight. Why on earth is gaming journalism so shoddy and clearly not up to industry standards? -- it's not like journalism standards are even that high these days in general!

Terrible article is wrong and terrible. With a mistake that big I'm not inclined to believe that it will be the Gameinformer cover until we have dev confirmation. Dev has confirmed that multiple player races are in.  Now whether it's for multiplayer or singleplayer is the question....

Well zippty doo da, time to put my foot in my mouth. That's what happens when I disappear for 24 hours. I wonder if they were able to add the races due to an extra year or it was just an elaborate (albeit welcome and pleasently surprising) troll on the devs' part? :o

Player races is a direct result of our time extension. If we were still releasing this year or early next year, they wouldn't be in.
