So does multiple playable races mean no Voice Acting for the main character?

Really need to know because it's something that would be detrimental for me.

No, voiced PC is still confirmed. It's just selectable, non-playable backgrounds for the PC that are gone now.

On the ceiling above Morrigan , there's a painting of the Masked Empire Cover!!
I love all those little details.
And the cloaks are in the World of Thedas ,I wonder if we will see that awful over the top orlesian bed.

Yeah, a lot of what we "knew" about the game is no longer true. And the strangest thing so far - almost all of the changes seem to be for the better.

I really like the redesign of the elves. They just look better in my opinion and i look forward to seeing more images of them to get a better idea of how they look ingame
