Has anyone heard if BW will be at DragonCon in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend? I know they had a base there last year, but I haven't seen anything for 2013.

Mike suggested he wouldn't be going, as far as I know. I can't remember the tweet but it was a little while ago. They might send somebody from Bioware, though,
As for NYCC, they've been every year recently so I expect they'll go again. It is a pretty huge event, no?

There was some discussion a few pages back, but DG has confirmed that the painter/scribe is indeed a different character from Viv.

Wow. The woman's face is stamped on the ceiling and centralized in the picture and I never saw anything but Morrigan.

Not every character mentioned in that survey was a companion, and some of them either no longer exist or have changed signficantly. Hence why I have said before not to hold it up as gospel-- you may be very disappointed." -David Gaider.
So I guess the survey companions are up in the air, some so far up they just went POOF.

I wouldn't take what he says about the surveys as gospel. It's in the company's best interest to discredit them while promoting the game. I don't think the companions were in such a state of flux when that survey leaked because voice actors playing companions were already recording before the leak and that was a marketing survey. As in gathering information for marketing the game, not developing the game. Some aesthetic changes or backstory changes probably happened along the way since then but I highly doubt that they would just drop companions that they were already trying to figure out how to market effectively.
