Has anyone heard if BW will be at DragonCon in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend? I know they had a base there last year, but I haven't seen anything for 2013.
I'd imagine they would. It is "Dragon" age after all

Friday's screenshot update took the wind out of my sails tbh, hopefully something more substantial Monday.
I'm not expecting something substantial with every update. They probably don't want to give too much away too soon.

Mike suggested he wouldn't be going, as far as I know. I can't remember the tweet but it was a little while ago. They might send somebody from Bioware, though,
As for NYCC, they've been every year recently so I expect they'll go again. It is a pretty huge event, no?

Scribe is probably more accurate, I suppose, but it's the third one (going left to right) on top in this picture:
Not the same character as Vivienne, despite also having darker-coloured skin.

Didn't he also say it was a cheese wheel? I could'nt find it though.
Yeah, should have read the twitter conversation about it. I thought that rock under Cassandras stretched out arm looks like a human face with Alistairs haircut.

Is that on the ceiling an official portrait of empress Celine? If so it's a little creepy. I hope we'll get to meet her in Inquisition.

There was some discussion a few pages back, but DG has confirmed that the painter/scribe is indeed a different character from Viv.

Interesting. Wonder if she's a companion?

Not all the characters that are going to be members of the Inquisition needs to be companions.

Wow. The woman's face is stamped on the ceiling and centralized in the picture and I never saw anything but Morrigan.

But she's a companion right? (Or should we only be trying for writer slip ups in the late evening when they might be drunk?)
"I'm not going to say whether she's a companion, or if she's even still in DAI. Not every character mentioned in that survey was a companion, and some of them either no longer exist or have changed signficantly. Hence why I have said before not to hold it up as gospel-- you may be very disappointed." -David Gaider.
So I guess the survey companions are up in the air, some so far up they just went POOF.

I wouldn't take what he says about the surveys as gospel. It's in the company's best interest to discredit them while promoting the game. I don't think the companions were in such a state of flux when that survey leaked because voice actors playing companions were already recording before the leak and that was a marketing survey. As in gathering information for marketing the game, not developing the game. Some aesthetic changes or backstory changes probably happened along the way since then but I highly doubt that they would just drop companions that they were already trying to figure out how to market effectively.
