Even more super super super happy I was able to snag a Saturday Pass a couple days ago!  (I had only been able to get Fri, Sun, Mon originally)   Wonder how many hours we'll have to wait in line for this bad boy.  <_<

Really looking forward to their QA panel - I blame Allan Schumacher.  The "Fan Feedback" panel could be awesome, or only trolls, kind of like a BSN LARP....  :P

Please take notes! ;)

Jennifer left?

She's coming back, right?

John Dombrow leaves one day, and Jennifer the next. It's not right. :(

You better keep Mary and Sheryl happy, David. Get Sylvia to lock the doors.

Isn't Chris Hepler a writer at Edmonton also?

Oh, from a Polygon article:

"Jennifer Hepler left BioWare this week to begin work on a book about narrative design and do some freelance work. Her most recent job title was senior writer on Dragon Age: Inquisition. "

Hopefully it's just downtime or something. Maybe she doesn't get sabbaticals like David does.

If not, be happy and successful wherever you go. And maybe write about dwarves every now and again. :-)

Maybe not anymore.

I'm not assuming anything at this point. :(

Damn shame to see them leave. Damn shame :-(

I hope it isn't because of those ****ing idiots with their backlash on that interview. And by that I mean, I hope they haven't personally hurt her in any way outside forums. Trolls are like that, y'know. It happened with Scooby from youtube, a VERY popular fitness guru whose own family was threatened by a bunch of trolls in 4chan.

Jennifer left? That's unfortunate. She wrote most of the Legacy DLC and much of the Orzammar-related content, along with Sebastian and Bethany, two of my fave NPCs from DA2.

Well, good luck on your future endeavours, Jennifer.

Well, that's a bummer. She wrote some great stuff for DA franchise. I wish her luck and lots of money in future pursuits.

Looked up and read the article after seeing your post. It seems crap like this is affecting the whole industry.

A damned shame how extreme some people can be. I can understand passionate responses expressing distaste and some painful, honest critique, but death threats to their families? Filthy trash is what these people are.

My thoughts go with her. May she find success in life down the road.

Agreed. All the very best to Jennifer :) I'm really enjoying all these tweets, and very jealous of anyone lucky enough to attent PAX Prime! I'm just gonna have to move to the US, I guess ...

I wish I hadn't. It's hard to process the depths of this... completely casual depravity.

So normal "time-off" in the game writing world.

Are you going to be on this panel? I cannot imagine a BioWare QA panel existing without you, so I am going to assume so.  Looking forward to it!

Sad to see Jennifer go. Even sadder knowing the kind of abuse she had to endure from a subset of the online gaming community. I wish her luck and success with her new project, and I hope she hasn't completely given up on video game writing -- although I understand why she'd rather stay as far away as possible from now on.

:(

Really sad to hear she left. She wrote some of my favorite stuff. Good luck to her.

From the sound of it she'll be showing aspiring writers the ropes, so she's still in the game - more or less.
