That could just be for testing purposes, I doubt that sequence was representative of that actual level in the game.

(if only because revealing that we actually fight the Inquisition at some point would probably be a massive spoiler?)

Maybe they were testing it's mechanics, the inquisition soldier probably fights for us.

I hope that we can still customize our armor and such. I worry because of the we can choose our race now...it seems they are likely going to take that away.

The GI article mentioned both the races and the customizable armor (through crafting) as being in the game, so it seems to not be effected. (or not negatively effected, I mean)

 So I've watched the viddeo again on fullscreen a few times. This is what I've found:


2 new companions:

So know the mage from around 1:17 is Vivienne, and there's an archer who picks up and puts down a torch. But out of the 2 other characters one of them is the inquistor. There is:

hooded twin blade (I'm guessinging inquisitor)
sowrd and sheild warrior. He looks kinda dwarven... (but I'm guessing he's warden guy from survey)


1:59: The "venetori" gaurdsman looks suspiciously a lot like the fog warrior concept art from World of Thedas

2:45 We are in adamant fortress, pursuing warden commander (insert blurred text) I think it looks kinda like Carver, but that's just a guess. 


3:03: We do fight an inquisitoion soldier.... in an area that doesn't look like it would be a prime choice for "let's test out some random mechanics" and more like "let's test out a scene". ALSO NOTE: We fight the inquisition soldier at the adamant fortress! As shown by the thing in the corner telling us to persue (insert blurry name here). 

3:31: There's a quest titled: Reclamation. Also: we see this same twin bladed character, and his icon is the first one, so the sword/sheild guy is a new companion! Probably warden guy form the survey.

There is a thread called two new companions? Started by Janus 198 in it ollys put up a picture breakdown of the new characters. The archer looks very similar to the Elven character named Sera. I would try to put the picture capture ollys created here but I'm on my phone and lack the knowledge to put it in this thread.
The twin bladed character did seen to be the inquisitor and the bearded character a grey warden.

Physique has to do with the shape of your body, not your face....

This is mildly disappointing.
I was hoping to be able to make both buffer and thinner characters than the default.  Ah well.

Interesting.

I hope the Free Marches is somewhere that's at least partially featured, since they scrapped the expansion that apparently featured an Exalted March and visits to other cities (like Starkhaven).

I was re reading World of Thedas , and there's mention of a great tournament in the Free Marches.
Apparently it's some mysterious people funding this and no one knows why...

Seeing the tevinter gladiator in the alpha footage , I was wondering if we may be recruited in the Inquisition that way.
Like the proving ground , the inquisition is looking for elite warriors and your pc needs a free jail card.
And blablabla later everyone dies , and you're the sole survivor.

I know that's a LOT of speculation , but DA2 started in Lothering so my guess is we may start in the Free Marches this time.
