Mike said he wasn't sure about the recording last week, but generally media websites record them. (Or, at least, they have in the past.)

Besides at very least, one can admit that you would prefer 'normal' accent over a foreign one in any game. I mean how many western games are there that have main characters with foreign accents? I don't recall any that I have played.
Just gonna chime in here.
There's no such thing as a 'normal' accent -- the accent changes depending on region and there is no 'normalized' one. Accents have dialects as well.
Second, I'm Australian. Practically every game I've ever played has had nothing but foreign accents. This makes most characters feel exceptionally fake and unbelievable, and characters with British accents seeming the most real and North American ones the most fake (due to association with 90% of tv shows and films). French accents feel about mid range except when very thick.
On topic: I'd prefer to have a choice of country of origin, but seeing as that as a choice seems to be out of the question I'd like the Inquisitor to not be from Ferelden, BUT would not be fussed if she was. However it turns out, the devs likely have a good plot reason for it.

If the protagonist is Orlesian I think I would be completely okay if the male was voiced by Stephane Cornicard. Especially if he used his Riordan voice.

Wait, but Meredith didnt have an American accent, nor did Dumar...
In fact the only people I remember that did were either surface dwarves or city elves, just like in DA:O

We haven't seen anywhere that represents 'America' in Dragon Age, and personally I think we never should. America doesn't feel like it has a place in this kind of fantasy, except for the voices of Dwarves, and... even then they don't seem like very thick accents to me? I say as an Australian who is bollocks at picking up on certain American accents unless they're thick.
I don't know, Europeon just seems to work for the setting better, I think? I know I would be tilting my head if 'Australia' or Australian accents turned up in fantasy.

Also an Australian accent in a fantasy game would be hilariously out of place.

Here's hoping somebody uploads the event ASAP and not 5 months later

Anders is in a pic, scroll down a bit, and it looks like you might have to buy him. It's freemium, looks like.. And it's probably adding something to import into DA:I (though I have no info on that, pure speculation).
I have three concerns about that. 1. Will it play on older smartphones, as in 3 and 4 year old devices? 2. Will some characters only show up where they would in game if we buy/acquire them in the mobile game? That would be bad. 3. Is there a way to unlock all the characters, in that case, without having to shell out a bunch of cash? It could get real expensive if it expects you to buy non-standard party members or do without.
If it's standalone and doesn't effect DA:I, I don't care what they do with it. I'll play it if I can, not worry about it if I can't. If it has more crossover, it better be fair about that free to play tag.
