People were originally talking about ten, based on the marketing survey.

Though even with all the concept art and (placeholder?) companion bios in the survey, nobody could actually gather ten confirmed names. It's always hovered around eight or nine, now that we have Vivienne who seems to be new.

I hope it isn´t like in ME2 and that comes at the expense of the main character.

You know in role playing games, the player is in charge of how there main character develops. If you find the main character boring that's your fault.

I think it's approximately 10 years. Around 9:40 Dragon, ish.

Er... no. I don´t headcanon whatever he PC is thinking at every moment and happily accept a complete blank. Shepard, Jensen, Geralt, or Thorton feel like characters, and I get to decide how they behave. Otherwise I´m just pulling strings.

Going back to ME2, Shepard had gone through several emotionally heavy moments s/he never gets the chance to express (just a bit at the end of LotSB), while you tended to everybody else´s mental problems... good thing Alliance military training seems to include psychology.

Different philosophies, then. I'd hate to be the wannabe mod, but we all know where this particular road leads to

I´m more on the mechanics vs plot choices argument when it comes to that, but yeah, let´s stay away from that.

Just before the image with presumably Cassandra and Leliana presenting the Inquisitor to the cheering crowd, there was another one, where seated on a throne is a female Qunari, but the context seemed to indicate that she was the Inquisitor. Check this out:

Hm, she is wearing red.

Though a qunari Inquisitor would be... highly difficult to do properly, wouldn't it? I mean, they'd get a hostile reaction from practically everybody.

1.That's the case with every pc you going to play as. Not everyone is going to have the same emotions so a blank slate you have the fill is just how rpg's are.

2. You don't have plenty chances to vent but can call out the councils bs. How you react to things does express how you feel.

Sorry for the OT, but being asked about Akuze by a Cerberus higher-up with no choice to tell the to ****-off, at the very least, was very immersion breaking, not even 30 minutes into the game. I don´t want the Inquisitor being a 3rd person puppet with 0 personality.
