EA decided to drop the "online pass" from all their games past and future. Shale and Zaeed where part of these "online pass". It's quite possible that DAI won't have a day-1 companion DLC because of this.

I'm just getting caught up.. wow, I am SO glad they started releasing more info! It all looks great so far, I'm getting excited 

I even re-upped my Game Informer sub just so I could read this month's - although I try not to go to Game Stop (too tempting), this was a must-have. 

Keep that info and those tweets coming!

Javik and Sebastian were collector/signature editions companions (or you had to buy them).  I don't see EA doing this again, people where pissed off about it...

That was from the concept art of a Mage Inquisitor. (Gamescom video)
It's not Mage-specific, by the way, anyone can wear it from what we saw, tons of customization is implied this time around.

LOL Now that you say that, it did sort of have that vibe to it. That feeling of simultaneous wonder and fear that the pretty wildlife will eat you. Amazing.

Day-1 DLC and character DLC has nothing to do with online passes.

EA says otherwise (Zaeed is part of Cerberus Network).

The place could be the castle in the frozen mountains we already saw.
The woman at the left of the PC is likely to be Leliana. The other could be Cassandra.

Have you found a high res version of the Inquisitor walking with an Elf and a Qunari into a fortress?
I want it as Wallpaper

 Looking at the subject of BioWare using both a male and female cover character, like in Mass Effect 3.. it's good and all, don't get me wrong, but regardless if their protagonist is a man or woman, BioWare still always makes them white. Both of them. Always.

P.S.: I don't really care, I'm just surprised that gender is the only discussed subject. In fact, I don't care either way, I think actually being concerned over it inflates the problem. A character should be designed in relationship to the story and creator's mind, not public concern. Though, when it comes to BioWare protagonists, there isn't much else but fan feedback to make the look of the cover character since the character is made by fans (or they could always try this). Maybe they should just flip a coin. Leave the default character to random generation.
