I can't find it anywhere else: did Bioware say whether the smaller Base panels will be recorded?
I know the main event on August 31 in the Paramount Theatre will be recorded by some media, but I don't remember whether EA or Bioware said anything about all the others.
(there are some really interesting-sounding panels like Dragon Age: Inquisition – Crafting and Customization, Tactical Combat, Making Your Mark on the Dragon Age, Playable Races and Behind the Scenes that I'd enjoy seeing in full)
Yes, they will be recorded! On the Bioware Blog about PAX just under the panel list:
http://blog.bioware....pax-prime-2013/
"If you can’t make it to the base, or won’t be attending PAX Prime this year, our friends at http://www.nerdappropriate.com/ will be on hand to record and post later as podcasts. Stay tuned for more info about that at a later date."

Arf ...Hoods are indeed way cooler than hat.(I hope they won't play any cruel joke and mages won't be able to wear them)
And that sucks about the bird , it really look great on the shoulder ,very fashionable too.
Well at least we won't have any creepy shapeshifter always watching us.

But I don't remember all of the smaller choices I made for my various play-throughs.
*edit* Also, this will be a great way to revisit my old characters and refamilirize myself with them (maybe even boot up some old save files). The more I think about it the more excited I am!

I don't think the woman on the far right is Leliana, it could be Sera.

Summing up why I'm the right kind of crazy to make Dragon Age Keep choose me as a beta tester into only 200 characters was frustrating. I probably should have just written "Pick ME!Pick ME!Pick ME!Pick ME!Pick ME!Pick ME!Pick ME!Pick ME!Pick ME!" instead,
They are probably looking for someone who is detail oriented and loves keeping logs, repeatedly doing the same thing over and over, and spreadsheets, and has no life to distract them from doing QA work in their spare time.
So if you really want to beta test an import tool, you should probably reference those points.

Big news
Good, I lost all my saves again and I really didn't want to replay all of DA:O/DA:A/DA2.

Considering the amount of times I've replayed all the Mass Effect and Dragon Age games just to see minor changes in the ending, the only thing I'm missing is the spreadsheets.

But I don't remember all of the smaller choices I made for my various play-throughs.But I understand that a direct import could be problematic, especially with the bugs between DAO and DA2. At least this gives us something almost as good as a direct import (and I guess if you've a better memory than I the Dragon Keep might be more faithful than the buggy imports). And there is hope for forgetful people like me: "What about actually importing your save games? We are continuing to investigate ways in which save files from previous games could be used to populate the initial world state of the Dragon Age Keep. We’ll provide more information on this in the months to come."
*edit* Also, this will be a great way to revisit my old characters and refamilirize myself with them (maybe even boot up some old save files). The more I think about it the more excited I am!
I don't have any problem with my memory actually. I remember every single choice in both games I've made. I'll try to import my saves anyway if there will be bugs in DA: I...Well then, I'll use the Keep.
