Even though people are raising an eyebrow over an elven magister, his clothing and the facial expression do feel something like the description in the survey.
Though of course, the male elf could be somebody else entirely. Perhaps an NPC or an agent that we know nothing about.

I should probably also remind folks that many concept pieces are exploratory. Meaning they’re pictures of something we may have planned at some point, or were just talking about, or maybe the concept artists were suggesting. One of the follower concepts came back with a babboon next to him— not because I had described the follower as having a babboon pet, but because the concept artist thought it might be neat.
Just so we’re clear: there is no babboon pet.
At any rate, just keep in mind that these pieces were done at various stages of the game’s development. They might indicate something that’s in the game now, or they might be completely out of date. So speculate with a slight grain of salt, y’all.
I see people assuming that everyone pictured here (other than the Inquisitor, obviously) are party members. HAHA WRROONNG! Many of them are not. And the woman behind the Inquisitor is not Vivienne, either. Try again, suckers[/i].

It's a community service really. I'd rather have my silly ideas crushed early than to run with them for months, figuring into other speculations, and leading to inevitable disappointment at release.
