Physically going into the Fade sounds amazing, if that's what's being implied.  It also sounds like what the old magisters did...  If the big secret plot with the Fade rip involves another attempt at reaching the Black City, I wonder if that points again at Corypheus.  Not so sure about him being the main antagonist, but...

Oh wow, this definitely seems like we can go to the Black City. Inquisition looks like it's going to address a lot of the mysteries in the Dragon Age's lore.

As per Gaider's commentary on his Tumblr yesterday, the concept art is just an idea that they had. It does not guarantee that what you see will be in the game. It means they at least entertained the idea of being able to approach the Black City.

True, or these are just pictures of the Fade, not necessarily the Black City.   But speculation is fun.

Not that I know of.
*edit* I didn't notice that GI was going to show more today!!! 


I expect we'll get more GI stuff tomorrow, and then more on Saturday from the big PAX Event!

I am really excited about the Dragon Age Keep program. I hope the program will allow me to bypass some bugs that happened in some of my previous save files- specifically the bug where a mage character in DAO requests the circle's freedom if Alistair is King. The bug prevents the flag from triggering and even though Alistair says his appropriate dialogue, the decision isn't acknowledged by the other NPCs and the associated dialogue in Dragon Age 2 isn't triggered.

But the idea of carrying the world I made on the Xbox 360 to a PS4 or even a PC version of DAI really excites me.

Also, that video with the nugs looks amazing. This game looks better and better every day. I just hope it's as good as I hope.

GI has screenshots of Cassandra, Varric and Vivienne in a place that looks quite close to that concept art. You can also see it briefly in the "making of" video on the official dragon age webiste.

By the way, I don't think that this is the Black City, it's just the Fade.

I thought about the realm of fear demon(s) the moment I read the phrase. We know what Sloth does, getting into Fear could be... different.
