Thanks for the link... but that actual video was neither tactical, isometric nor party-based.
Why are they constantly in these videos TALKING about how tactical things are, then show nothing but first-person, action combat like in Dragon's Dogma? This is VERY disappointing, but I'll be waiting for the full reveal video.

I can't imagine you playing as a TRUE Sarebaas. You'd be in chains and looking to rush right back to your handler, of looking at killing yourself because you might be possessed by demons, unbeknownst to you.
Can't see that working too well.

Gameplay!
That's largely your opinion. Without trying to turn this thread into a templar vs mages debate, the mages broke away from the Chantry as much as the templars did and there is plenty Bioware could do to "salvage" them.Palidane wrote...

I don't like what I'm hearing about these "Red Templars". I hope they're a faction that broke off the main force and that there is a mage equivalent. They could even be presented in a tragic manner, showing how they had no choice but to use the Red Lyrium.
If the Templars become like ME3 Cerberus, I certainly won't care how many playable races there might be.
Prepare yourself for disappointment then. The Templars damned themselves the moment they broke away from the Chantry, to pursue the murder of mages. I can't think of anything Bioware could do to salvage them now.
Darn...I wasn't specific when I asked him. I asked if we could play as Qunari mage and he replied that "Yes, you can."Cirram55 wrote...

Now they need to show Rogue in action
I'd say they i'd rather see the PARTY in action. We've yet to see a combat video where the camera or player is showing control over anyone but one character. They might have showed this in the actual gameplay at PAX Lrime, but the only videos that are posting so far have all been single character control, not party.

I know this a grey issue, but the Templars jumped off the slippery slope. I'm pretty sure they're going to frame it as "Mages=Extremely dangerous, but people", "Chantry/Loyal Templars= Oppressive, but warranted", and "Renegade Templars= Cerberus".MisterJB wrote...
I use those examples in order to fit with the scenario we were presented in the game. It's as easily as that, all I'm asking is for some equal representation of both good and bad elements of both groups.
If we're in for a "Templars = bad, mages = good and misunderstood" I know I can spare a few dozen Euros.

Vivienne is Orlesian, she will have a French accent. That wasn't Vivienne.
First time I heard it I was sure it was Cassandra, but people around here seems to think it's not the same voice. I don't know what to say to this.
