Brooks from the mass effect 3 citadel DLC is playing the first enchanter companion. I'd recognise her sexy voice anywhere. It's just slightly more majestic than Brooks.
True, I think people have suggested a few actors.
Solmeone said Natasha Little (Janeka from DA2 Legacy), others April Banigan (apparently that was Maya?) and also the female Sith Warrior from SWTOR.
Female Sith Warrior is also Natasha Little. One of my favorite voice actors from SWTOR.

They could get away with using "Warden" and "Hawke" a lot less in their respective games anyway (mostly Hawke), I don't know why so many characters need a handle to address you when it's just the two of you talking... If there are surnames I'd guess they'll most likely be per race and only used in text like in DAO, "Inquisitor" is probably our handle this time.eoinnx03 wrote...
Will the Inquisitor have an actual name like Hawk or Shepard?
I loved the demo, but to me It seemed rather cold and impersonal for Varric to call you buy your title, and that's mid way thought the game so you'd think he'd know you abit.
What do you guys think?
But they've not confirmed anything yet as far as I know. Plus, Varric calling you by your title kind of makes sense for him.
If they're going for a more martial and militaristic tone, too - "here are your soldiers, armies, and keeps" - it makes sense that people would address their superior by their rank. Maybe not so much the party members, but it works for general barks in combat.
Even more than Shepard, the Inquisitor is literally a one-of-a-kind person in this entire world - nobody else has the title, and so using it guarantees that it's clear who is being talked about.

She's one of mine, too. Though if that really is Little voicing Vivienne, I find myself simultaneously pleased and disappointed. I love her voice, so. . . excited! But disappointed because, well, I was sort of hoping that she might voice the female protagonist.

This is off topic, but after watching many interviews with Bioware devs, I realised that Bioware either suffers from a lack of racial diversity in real life or that the non-Caucasian people simply haven't been interviewed yet.
Hmm...
They're in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Not a lot of racial diversity there.

With so much ambition here, I'm concerned about a usual Bioware weakness - the earlier levels, particularly the ones that were so well-crafted and well thought out due to the fact that they were made to be showcased for events like PAX or E3, set expectations so high that the consistency of quality throughout the rest of the game did not live up to the heights set up earlier. It's a common thing with Bioware. It's as if the earlier levels were made for proof of concept, so much thought and effort went into it, that they felt specially handcrafted. Then once these levels are completed, efforts were made to routinize and break the rest of the games down into quickly repeatable, formulaic development effort that resulted in the disappointing fall of quality in experience, because efficiency was prioritized.
Please Bioware, take note. The quality of the rest of the game ought to be at least at the same level, preferably reaching even greater heights than what was set earlier.

I heard it rumored on Tumblr that an item popped up during the demo that was made by "Artificer Dagna". Can anyone confirm that really happened? And if you can confirm, can you get me a fainting couch while you're at it?

Just one voice, though. We haven't heard the female human voice, or any of the other races - if they have unique actors.

The #DAI panel at @dragoncon was an amazing experience. Seeing the crowd reaction is why I do what I do.

I think one of them on Sunday is about playable races, and there's a few more about making an impact on the world.
